We have available at our Hemel Hempstead, Handleys Court location our delightful standard two bedroom apartments offering one double ensuite bedroom, a 2nd double bedroom and separate 2nd bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave and lounge/diner with TV/DVD. We also provide a comprehensive Sky package which includes movies, sports and childrens' channels at no extra charge. There is lift access directly from all car parking levels. You can also visit the communal sun terrace on the 8th floor, where smoking is permitted.

The rate is fully inclusive of secure on-site parking, towels and bed linen, all utilities and local taxes, as well as VAT. The price also includes wifi and telephone facilities (subject to call planning).

REDUCED RATES APPLY FOR 8+ NIGHT BOOKINGS - PLEASE ENQUIRE. Additional guests over and above 4 persons are charged at a supplemental rate of £12/per person per night.

The England region

Hemel Hempstead has a population of around 89,000. Developed after World War II as a new town, it has existed as a settlement since the 8th century. It is part of the district of Dacorum and the Hemel Hempstead constituency.

Hemel Hempstead grew up in a shallow chalkland valley at the confluence of the rivers Gade and Bulbourne, 27 miles (43 km) north-west of central London.

The main railway line between London Euston and the Midlands passes through Apsley and Hemel Hempstead railway stations a mile south of the town centre, as does the Grand Union Canal. These links, as well as the A41 trunk road, follow the course of the Bulbourne river valley. The New Town expansion took place up the valley sides and on to the plateau above the original Old Town. In the 1990s, a motorway-style by pass called the A41 was built to the south and west of the town across the upland chalk plateau. Hemel Hempstead is also linked to the M1 motorway to the east.

The M25 is a few miles to the south. To the north and west lie mixed farm and woodland with scattered villages, part of the Chiltern Hills. To the northwest lies Berkhamsted. To the South lies Watford and the beginnings of the Greater London area. To the east lies St Albans, a historic cathedral and market town and now like Hemel Hempstead, part of the London commuter belt.
