This fabulous period house. overlooking Cowes Harbour, benefits from a quiet position, yet close to the sea front, restaurants and shops, and only a few minutes walk from the Red Jet high speed passenger ferry. This well appointed property boasts 5 double bedrooms, 3 en-suite shower rooms, and a big family bathroom, and is the perfect place for holiday makers and corporate guests. The vehicle hardstand at the front of the house has parking for one car. Additional parking is available by arrangement.
The impressive entrance hall provides plenty of space for new arrivals and entertaining, and the sitting room has comfortable seating for 10 people, with direct access to the patio. Both rooms have underfloor heating, if required. The formal dining room has a beautiful wooden floor, original marble-surround fireplace, and dining table for 10. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen/diner has a tiled floor, with under-floor heating, loads of worktop space and seating for 8. The ground and 4 upper floors of the house are connected by a magnificent spiral staircase, giving the house the wow factor.
A 42" HD digital LED TV with Freeview and Netflix channels, and a DVD player, is fitted in the patio room. A similar 38" TV is fitted in the dining room, and a 32" model in the kitchen/dining room. Fibre optic BT Infinity broadband and wi-fi is available throughout the house.
At the back of the property, the attractive west-facing walled patio can seat 8, with comfortable rattan sofas, armchairs, and a barbecue. Perfect for relaxing "al fresco" with coffee, drinks, or dining with family and friends. The third floor master bedroom has a private balcony, with wonderful sea views. The top of the house has a roof terrace accessed by a "ship's ladder" from the top floor landing. The roof terrace offers stunning views of the Harbour and Solent, as far as the mainland, and across the island towards the Downs.

There is 1 family bathroom fully tiled with bath, shower, twin hand basins, WC, airing cupboard, heated towel rail and under-floor heating. The 3 en-suite shower rooms are fully tiled with shower, hand basin and WC. There is a separate WC with hand basin off the kitchen/diner. The house benefits from a magnificent spiral staircase and bedrooms at the front of the house enjoy unrivalled views of the harbour and Solent. Access to the roof terrace is from the ships ladder on the top floor landing. The spacious tiled entrance reception and rear lounge have under-floor heating. The fully fitted kitchen/diner can seat up to 8 people and has a tiled floor with under-floor heating. The formal dining room with its original marble surround fireplace and wood floor seats 10 and the same number can be accommodated in the comfortable sitting room, with its access to the rear patio.

The front hardstand provides parking for one vehicle with parking for up to 3 additional vehicles by arrangement. The attractive west-facing walled terraced patio at the back of the house has comfortable rattan arm chairs and sofas for 10, a table and chairs, gas barbeque and lighting. The third floor balcony is accessed from bedroom 3 and has wonderful harbour and Solent views. The roof terrace enjoys far-reaching views towards Southampton and Portsmouth, the harbour, town and centre of the island beyond Newport. Being close to the high speed passenger ferry, a car is optional and if they prefer guests have the choice of car and cycle hire nearby. The Parade and sea front and beaches are minutes walk as are famous yacht clubs, such as the Royal Yacht Squadron and Royal Ocean Racing Club. Northwood Park with its tennis courts and children's playground is at the back of the house. The high speed ferry, yacht marina, boutique shops and restaurants are all close by.
