You are welcome to stretch your legs and roam at will around the grounds and paddock path with its many trees and views of Haconby’s medieval church and perch on one of the number of strategically placed garden seats should you deem anything worthy of a pause.
Separate entrance to Manor Stables is enjoyed over a small patio area with table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy fresh free range eggs for breakfast or sit and have a drink in the evening.
Once inside, the carefully chosen antiques effortlessly combine with a muted backdrop and sumptuous furnishings to create a luxury self-catering home stay you’ll be reluctant to leave. The accommodation is all on the ground floor. Coat hooks and shoe box are provided just inside the entrance door.

The Manor Stables has been recently converted into a private luxury holiday cottage. The former stables situated in Lincolnshire, in the village of Haconby just north of Bourne are conveniently located to provide an excellent base to relax and explore all that this part of Lincolnshire and nearby Rutland has to offer.
Whatever your interest there is plenty to see and do. Ideally situated for visiting Burghley House, also the home of Burghley Horse Trials and the historic town of Stamford named “The best place to live in Britain” by the Sunday Times.
Known as Bomber County, Lincolnshire is also home to the fantastic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby. If you are lucky you may well see the Spitfire, Lancaster or Hurricane pass overhead, using Haconby church spire as a navigation point, on their flight back to base.
Comfort and Luxury
The Manor Stables has been awarded four stars and a Gold Award by Visit England.
