Goose Cottage is a delightful stone steading, situated in beautiful countryside within the heart of Central Scotland. This lovely cottage sits in a quiet converted steading and is only a short drive from shops and local restaurants. This is a fantastic location giving you wonderful countryside views but with easy access to public transport and motorways to explore further afield. Glasgow and Edinburgh can both be reached within a half hour drive. Stirling and Perthshire can be reached within an hour.

The cottage is attractively presented, with good attention to detail. The lounge and kitchen are open plan and boast a wood burning stove. The lounge has a comfortable leather sofa and two easy chairs. A picture window looks out into the west facing courtyard. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped and provides access onto the private, fully enclosed east facing garden. The garden is surrounded by open countryside and on a clear day you can see Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. Both first floor bedrooms are beautifully coordinated with coombed ceilings and velux windows. You are free to ramble in the surrounding countryside and a short drive will allow you to explore the Pentland Hills.

All power, bed linen and towels are included in the cost of booking. The first supply of wood for the stove is also supplied. Further logs are available to purchase from owner. A travel cot high chair, stair gate and fire guard are available free on request. Wireless broadband connection also available free.

Welcome basket on arrival provided free.

Changeover day is Friday with arrival anytime after 4pm. Departure time is 10am. These times allow us to ensure the cottage is cleaned thoroughly and everything is perfect for your stay.

Shower Room: With large shower enclosure, WC and wash basin

Bedroom 1: With king size Sealy bed
Bedroom 2: Two single Sealy beds (zip 'n' link which can be made up as superking if required).

Double duvets are 'all season' a selection of feather and non feather pillows are provided.
