Craiglarach cottage is a charming, well-appointed, well maintained Victorian detached cottage on the outskirts of Aboyne village. Secluded but not remote, and with stunning views of fields, woods and hills from the sitting room window, to watch and enjoy the wild life of deers, birds and red squirrels that visit the garden. The River Dee is a short walk away, and the shops and pubs/cafes in Aboyne are under a mile away.
Cottage terms and conditions policy applies, including booking conditions. 25% of rent due of time of booking. Remainder 2 months before stay.

“A pretty comfortable cottage”
A wonderful gem of a cottage, so very comfortable and a wonderful setting. Lots of pretty walks and drives and Aboyne a nice town - red squirrels, deer and lots of birds.

“Cottage in the Woods”
"We have been going to Craiglarach Cottage now for the last 20 years, both as a couple & as a family. It is a most relaxing, well equipped and extremely comfortable home from home away from the hub-bub of city life. You can do as much or as little as you like, with beautiful walks & wildlife on the doorstep. Just sitting in the garden on a beautiful day, drinking in the scenery with an odd 'dram' thrown in is often enough. For the more energetic there are a wide variety of sporting activities around, whatever the weather. We have been at all times of year & there is always something to see. If you are looking for a lovely cottage in a peaceful and secluded, but not remote setting, we can guarantee you won't find better and like us you will keep coming back to savour something new."
