“The perfect countryside escape” We wanted a cosy, beautiful, secluded little hideaway to escape to for a few days - and that is exactly what we got! The Long House is an absolute gem. The incredible collection of antiques and curios decorating the house makes it a magical find (we'd definitely recommend the 'Nothing Better to Do House Quiz'). When we arrived, we were welcomed by our lovely host who made us feel right at home and surprised us with a delicious basket of goodies (the homemade Victoria Sponge was a particular highlight!). Our stay was everything we expected and more. If you're looking for somewhere to relax in front of the fireplace, put your feet up with a good book and just get away from it all, we can highly recommend this house.
