“Relaxing stay” The cottage has wonderful views from the sitting-room and terrace. A lovely spacious cottage that you can just relax in. Good walks from the door and easy access into Oxford using the P&R which is about 10 mins drive away.
It could do with a visitor book so we could see what others have enjoyed such as good eateries and places to visit.. We would happily stay again.
“Heartwarming, Cosy and it won't upset your bank either” Overall, this place was fabulous, it was everything we needed & in such short notice too, it was like finding gold dust, we were certainly very lucky at how perfect & reasonable the price was.
We stayed for one night, 'we' being 4 guy mates just escaping from life to catch up & have fun for a night in Oxford.
As we knocked on the door to enter, we were rather skeptical at first, as we couldn't see anything like the pictures in sight, but we were at the right place.
First off, the owners of the place were the nicest people we have probably met, it felt very welcoming & overall a great atmosphere. Ian & his wife were the best hosts we have probably ever had the chance of meeting during non-hotel oriented visits.
The actual place used to be a stables & the owners did a very good job in revamping it into a place of living, there's a nice spacious living room, a fairly roomy kitchen, a spiral staircase up to a very spacious double bedroom & another bedroom with two single beds. There's enough kitchenware (just about) to cook a christmas dinner (quite literally ;)). There's cupboards & drawers to store your items, the shower was decent albeit the water came out a bit tired-like.
There was also a spacious dining room on the ground floor & another toilet.
The only problem we probably had (although it was a small problem) was that the wifi was a bit weak, we had problems connecting to it however we were only staying one night so it wasn't too bad.
tl;dr - Great Place, amazing value for money, you will not find a cheaper place with the same quality! Ian, his wife & his family as well as his dog were all very friendly & welcoming, wifi was a bit dodgy :P.
“HOME AWAY FROM HOME” We were pleasantly surprised by this modern and spacious OXFORD APARTMENT TWO.

Wisteria Lodge in the village of Cumnor, 3 miles from the City center of Oxford.
Delightful little Oxfordshire hide-away.
What a lovely little place this was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wisteria Lodge was so unusual, very petite and beautifully self-contained with everything we could have asked for. A perfect hide-away for two in a quiet Oxfordshire village.
Brian, the owner, was an excellent host and his delightful breakfasts served across the garden in his conservatory were simple and perfect. Warm croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruit salads, Danish pastries. fresh orange juice and filter coffee etc. In addition Brian's local knowledge of the surrounding area was warmly appreciated in helping us to plan our daily itinerary and enjoy our special anniversary break. …

Beautiful and cozy victorian terraced house, a mile from Oxford City centre
A Fantastic House Near The Centre Of Oxford
A really lovely property in a quiet road not far from Oxford City Centre. Prior to arrival we were given all the information we needed to check in and any queries were answered promptly. The house was clean, inviting, nicely decorated and had all the facilites we needed. Bedding and towels are provided and the towels are thick, white and fluffy! Even in October it was warm enough to open up the bi-fold patio doors in the kitchen/diner and have a drink out on the decking area which was great. If we ever needed to stay in Oxford again we would definitely check availability on this house first. …
