“Perfect in every way” Driftwood Cottage is an absolute gem. It has been decorated and furnished with great style and taste. We could not fault it in any way. Like most people, we will definitely be back. However if everyone is true to their word, we're worried we might never get in.

“Excellent value for money accommodation” Location ideal, especially for access to Robin Hoods Bay, without having to get involved in the 'bun' fight, that is parking in the area. Excellent walks nearby and easy access to all the main roads and places of interest. Amenities within the caravan are A1, catering for all your needs. Definitely will recommend to like minded friends and family, who want a peaceful break in a countryside location.

“Relaxation Guaranteed.” We had a lovely stay in this comfortable cottage, handily situated opposite a friendly real ale pub and only a few yards from a handy Co-op. The cosy log fire and the expansive sofa were perfect after a day’s walking ; the added bonus of access to Netflix made the evenings very relaxing. The bed was a treat and the power shower a dream ! The railway line from Middlesbrough to Whitby passes through Castleton so we took advantage of a day return to see the Abbey via a very scenic line. Whenever necessary we had Annette’s handy advice on the other end of the phone.

“Stunning house, perfect location, friendly villagers make you feel really welcome.” Clean house, beautifully decorated, warm with a lovely pot belly fire. The owners have left lots of their own belongings in the house, we particularly enjoyed using the Bluetooth speaker, the turntable and the vinyls! Great pumclose by, our favourite is the Cod and Lobster. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. It’s our third time we’ve stayed at Pelican and we’d like to return again next year.

“Wonderful” As above ! from Michelle’s warm wellcome to the warmth of the surroundings the cottage promised and delivered and was our haven and wellcomed us back off the moors each day ! the east coast close by and amazing villages with even more amazing pubs and restaurants at hand nead i say more ! ! !
