“Wonderfully relaxing retreat and holiday” I've stayed at Tralllwyn cottages several times now, the location is outstanding, situated on moorland in the Preselli Mountains,Pembrokeshire and not far from the coast, it's ideally situated whatever your interests. For me one of the best things about this holiday is the peaceful, cosy and unusual accommodation. In the Cowshed Cottage you could almost be in a Hobbit style home, with a lovely round window overlooking the moor and standing stone circle and the childrens bedroom which is like a den area, an adventure for the kids! The cottage has a lovely woodburner for those chillier days and I enjoy making pottery with Anna an accomplished artisan and the owner of the cottages, when I am visiting, so I always get to take home a hand crafted reminder of my stay. We love this place!

Felindyrch mill studio rural stone barn conversion
Lovely, cosy cottage, perfect for a countryside break

We really cannot praise this property highly enough. Quirky in character with its lovely mezzanine sleeping area, wood burner (lovely to cosy up in front of after a long walk on chilly February day!) and the lovely sounds of running water down the side of the cottage, but with all you could possibly need for a comfortable stay without having to leave the building if you didn't want to! (The kitchen facilities are spot on.) We loved that we could take the dog with us too, and found the countryside all around us was beautiful as far as the eye could see so there was no shortage of new places to take him for nice long walks. Our only complaint would be that we had to leave!see more
Trallwyn 300 yr old Farmhouse - stunning location in Pembrokeshire National Pk
Peaceful and perfect, beautiful surroundings

Our second stay with Anna at Trallwyn, having stayed in the Yurt during 2016. The site itself is perfect, a haven for plants, wildlife and relaxation. The moor is on the doorstep, featuring wild ponies, sheep and the most beautiful star filled skies at night. The Farmhouse itself exceeded exceptions, a large lounge, conservatory and kitchen/diner provided lots of space for six adults. Upstairs there is a large double, and two twin rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, containing everything needed and more - a large fridge, gas and aga cooker, microwave etc. Free, fast wifi is provided. The lounge features a wood burner (great for chilly nights), with very reasonably priced wood for sale by Anna on site (or free to gather on the moor during walks). Warmer evenings were spent on the moor at the communal fire area, where we had great bonfires and made friends from all around the world. The Farmhouse is decorated beautifully, reflecting Annas artistic talents, the attention to detail is manifest - a lit oil burner on arrival and a laid fire ready to light. The farmhouse is dog friendly, our two dogs were made welcome during the stay. During our stay the pottery workshop was used - very fun, and excellent value for money. Anna is a first class teacher. The local area is full of charm, with a host of historical sites, and more modern activities to suit all ages and interests. I can whole heartedly recommend Trallwyn, it is a perfect venue to "get away from it all", a totally peaceful setting to relax and recharge. Booking again for later this year :)see more
Cottage studio by ancient stone circle
Beautiful & Cosy

We stayed here over New Years for 4 nights in the small Bach cottage and couldn't recommend it more. Was the perfect little retreat space with kitchen and wood fire and all the countryside around including the stone circle was beautiful! The lovely Anna made sure we had everything we needed - will definitely return one day!see more
Trallwyn Converted Cowshed
A perfect retreat for getting away from it all!

The owner, who lives in another dwelling on the site, is a very welcoming hostess, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. The Cowshed is well maintained and brimming with character and individual charm, set in very peaceful surroundings, with direct access to the moor. The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life (but if you can't stay away from your inbox, the provided wifi works well).see more
Escape to the Hills, tranquil Preseli smallholding
A beauty in the heart of the Preseli hills, we will be returning

We had a wonderful stay at Ashvale Holiday and Livery Stables whilst visiting Pembroke and Brecon Beacons by motorbike. A very warm welcome on arrival from hosts Anita and Charlie, they could not have done anymore to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, from helping to dry our wet weather gear, to giving us a tour of their stables and introducing us to their beautiful horses. We felt like the first guests to stay at the caravan, spotlessly clean and well equipped, everything thought of. Great advice on where to go for oil, petrol, and breakfast in Crymych, and the best beaches. The only thing I'd do differently next time is book a longer stay. Thanks so much guys.see more
Felindyrch - beautiful quirky rural stone cottage part of old mill smallholding
A gorgeous weekend.

We stayed at the cottage and we all loved it, my husband, myself, two boys (aged 10 and 11) and Max the dog. Loads of freedom but home comforts too. The beds are really comfortable and we loved the character of the cottage and the way it's been renovated. We stayed just for a weekend before the children went back to school but wish we'd had longer. We'd love to come back again.see more
