Lovely, cosy cottage, perfect for a countryside break
We really cannot praise this property highly enough. Quirky in character with its lovely mezzanine sleeping area, wood burner (lovely to cosy up in front of after a long walk on chilly February day!) and the lovely sounds of running water down the side of the cottage, but with all you could possibly need for a comfortable stay without having to leave the building if you didn't want to! (The kitchen facilities are spot on.)
We loved that we could take the dog with us too, and found the countryside all around us was beautiful as far as the eye could see so there was no shortage of new places to take him for nice long walks.
Our only complaint would be that we had to leave! …
Trallwyn 300 yr old Farmhouse - stunning location in Pembrokeshire National Pk
Lovely stay in the middle of nowhere
I spent 3 nights with my daughters at Trallwyn cottage and what a lovely place it is. Very comfortable and has everything you need and my eldest said it was the best nights sleep she's had in ages. It is go more and we did have a power cut and Wi-Fi went down but that was just a minor inconvenience and didn't ruin our stay. We would definitely go back. …
Cottage studio by ancient stone circle
Beautiful & Cosy
We stayed here over New Years for 4 nights in the small Bach cottage and couldn't recommend it more. Was the perfect little retreat space with kitchen and wood fire and all the countryside around including the stone circle was beautiful! The lovely Anna made sure we had everything we needed - will definitely return one day! …
Trallwyn Converted Cowshed
A perfect retreat for getting away from it all!
The owner, who lives in another dwelling on the site, is a very welcoming hostess, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. The Cowshed is well maintained and brimming with character and individual charm, set in very peaceful surroundings, with direct access to the moor. The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life (but if you can't stay away from your inbox, the provided wifi works well). …
Escape to the Hills, tranquil Preseli smallholding
A beauty in the heart of the Preseli hills, we will be returning
We had a wonderful stay at Ashvale Holiday and Livery Stables whilst visiting Pembroke and Brecon Beacons by motorbike. A very warm welcome on arrival from hosts Anita and Charlie, they could not have done anymore to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, from helping to dry our wet weather gear, to giving us a tour of their stables and introducing us to their beautiful horses. We felt like the first guests to stay at the caravan, spotlessly clean and well equipped, everything thought of. Great advice on where to go for oil, petrol, and breakfast in Crymych, and the best beaches. The only thing I'd do differently next time is book a longer stay. Thanks so much guys. …
Felindyrch - beautiful quirky rural stone cottage part of old mill smallholding
A gorgeous weekend.
We stayed at the cottage and we all loved it, my husband, myself, two boys (aged 10 and 11) and Max the dog. Loads of freedom but home comforts too. The beds are really comfortable and we loved the character of the cottage and the way it's been renovated. We stayed just for a weekend before the children went back to school but wish we'd had longer. We'd love to come back again. …
