Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Excellent clean homely accommodation for a family. Home away from home” We stayed here as a work/vacation trip. My family of 3 young boys and my wife were very happy with the accommodation. It was very clean and close to playing area for the kids and it was quiet as well. The owners were very helpful and made our stay very easy. They even helped me scanning and send documents that I had to send urgently abroad. Thank you for offering this apartment. Do not hesitate to book this. It is excellent and we will definitely use it again if we are in the area.
“Lovely pet friendly comfortable cottage” Good quiet location in a good non-touristy village. Co-Op well stocked, butchers and pubs, good Indian. Very comfortable, good beds, linen, very well equipped kitchen. Good that we could take our little dog for an extra charge. Friendly owners, good communication. Prompt return of our deposit. Walking distance to sea. Visited Cartmel, Grange over Sands, Sizergh Castle and Arnside (good fish and chips along the seafront past the pier) Had a really good week the weather good 5 of 7 days.
“Excellent accommodation” We arrived at Kellet Lodge, Friday evening at 5pm. Frances was there to greet us and show us the lodge. I've caravanned all my life and I was pleased to see we had chosen such a lovely home from home lodge to stay in. The bedrooms were decorated tastefully and everyone had a good night's sleep.
We travelled as 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 under 5's. Inside there are smoke games and toys for young children our boys were entertained.
The position of the lodge is lovely overlooking the lake. A moments walk to the onsite bar/restaurant (little expensive) but we were able to sit and watch the little one's play on the sand. We hope to return to Kellet Lodge again!
“Fantastic weekend” Just returned from a fantastic weekend at the lodge. It is very modern and clean. Fully equipped kitchen. There are some dvds and games provided too. There is sky, although one friend commented that there are not many channels. The hot tub is great. Nice view over to pine lodge lake whilst sat in the hot tub. We paid £8.50 for two of us to have access to the gym and pool. One friend had a massage in the spa and said it was very good. We didn't go to the on sight restaurant this time having had a bad experience previously but we did go to Longlands, less than a mile away, it's a nice pub and restaurant. I would recommend 27 Silverdale to both families and groups of friends. We will definitely return. Thank you very much Kelly.
“Stunning” We have just returned home from this lovely lodge and it's a proper home from home but without the stress. The lodge was clean and tidy and had everything you would want. The lodge is right on the lake side with the swans and ducks right outside the patio. Very peaceful and tranquil place to relax. We will definitely consider staying here again x
