“Home from Home” As I am very selective to where I stay I am glad to report that once again I haven't been wrong. This apartment is just what I would expect from my own home. The apartment is spotless and plenty of cooking utensils should you decide to cook for yourself. Also this apartment is VERY quiet considering all the businesses that are on the same street. The location is fantastic, promenade at the bottom of the road, Happy Mount Park five minutes walk away, one pub across the road and another round the corner. Also a BIG bonus is private parking at the back of the apartment! The owner and her staff are great, I had to change my plans suddenly but nothing was too much trouble for her which in turn made my life easier. We will definitely be returning to this property when next we are in the UK. If you want all the comforts of home - this is the place for you!!!

“Lovely place with great facilities” Stayed at 27 Lakeside after it was recommended by another guest and we were not disappointed. Owner was very accomodating as we were travelling with older family members, we were given access to the cabin early and able to stay later on our last day. The property was imaculate and had everything we could of wished for and more. We have stayed at the Leisure Village 3 times before and this is by the far the best cabin we have stayed in. Location is very quite and ideal for us as we want to relax and unwind. Great location for places to visit small quante villages nearby which we thoroughly enjoy visiting. Pool and restaurant facilities are lovely no doubt we will be visiting again soon.

“perfect accomadation.” Just back from Shrimpers Cottage and would like to recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a holiday home in Lytham. The cottage is perfectly positioned for getting around area and has everything you could ask for. Very clean and well looked after .Richard was a brilliant host and was very gracious when my youngest granddaughter packed his travel hairdryer thinking it was mine. Apologies again for this Richard .Would not hesitate to tell our friends about this gem.

“Great place to stay” Lovely cottage in a great location. Very clean and cosy with opportunity to use open fires when really cold. The tea, coffee and eggs were much appreciated. This is a great location to tour the area within easy reach of all local attractions.

“A great location for being closer to Nature.” The location was excellent as our daughter lives in Carnforth and we spent most days together with her, her partner, our two sons , their partners and our two granddaughters. The girls loved searching for "bunnies" and being so close to the ducks. The lodge was very well equipped , clean and comfortable, but it took us some time to adjust to the gas cooker as the pressure seemed very low and food took much longer to cook.There could have been a concession at the pool as the price seemed exorbitant at £17 + for a couple, who only wanted to swim. The beach was too close to the lake for our granddaughters' safety so we went to Morecambe for the day. The website stated "all linens " ,but bath towels were not included and previous experience of self catering taught us to check. Everybody enjoyed the week there , especially the visit to the Beatrix Potter experience and the Play Barn .We also visited Leighton Moss , which is a wonderful RSPB site with amazing resources for the whole family and great cakes in the tea room.

“Golf break” We had an amazing time in the lodge ' it was like home from home , all of us agree that we would love to use the lodge again next year , everything we needed was there lovely cosy beds hard to leave in the morning , and the location couldn't be better with plenty of golf courses within thirty n mins drive the Lake District and the dales on the doorstep . What more could anyone ask it was absolutely fantastic
