“Lovely part of the country” Cosy and comfortable. The cottage was basically child safe (except for the stairs - we brought our own stair gate for my 16 month old). Lots of toys were on offer for different ages. No WiFi until you hit the main road, but we did not miss this. The owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. They had tasty eggs for sale at a reasonable price and got us an extra heater when we were cold and dug out the dvd player. Parking is a little restricted but it wasn't difficult to work round this. The drive to the main road is narrow and steep but with good traction so total safe to navigate.

“July stay” My tween, teen and I had a lovely stay at Park View apartment for 6 nights in July. The owners were welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean, well equipped and presented. Provision of coffee and milk was a welcome touch. We enjoyed Hexham park, the Tynedale country park and travelling to Alnwick Gardens, Staward Gorge and to Newcastle. Would definitely recommend.
