“Beautifully renovated cottage in perfect location for Lizard Peninsular” Ideally situated in a village with a strong community feel with well stocked village shop, local pub and within a short drive of many of Cornwall's most attractive locations from beautiful coves, beaches and gardens to the splendour of St Michael's Mount.
Excellent, well equipped cottage. Ideal for our 3 night spring break in Helford. Good walks from the doorstep, lovely views of the river. The summerhouse next to the creek is an ideal location for enjoying a relaxing cup of tea after a long day’s walk. We will visit again. …
One of the loveliest 'Holiday Cottages' we have ever stayed in!
Creekside Cottage,Gweek was 'just' perfect for our Christmas stay, in Cornwall! The cottage was beautifully appointed, with some lovely features including; A range, Victorian style wrought Iron fireplace & wooden shutters....& that was just in the lounge!! The conservatory was great for keeping all our 'Christmas goodies' cool & with two very good sized double bedrooms, a bunk room & a lovely large bathroom with shower & roll top bath, we really couldn't have wished for anything more. Fiona & Simon, the owners did everything to make our stay perfect, from leaving us all a lovely bottle of wine, a bunch of Tulips & a Cream Tea with homemade Scones, local Jam & Clotted Cream + they came to check all was OK & we weren't needing anything! All in all a truly memorable holiday. …
If you are looking for a great place for family and friends to enjoy Cornwall without the crowds look no further
We have just spent a very relaxing time over the New Year with our good friends who made the way to Higher Boden all the way from Hexham (best part of 500 miles each way). Our group had 4 adults and 4 teenagers (and one dog), which the barn accommodated very comfortably. Thanks to the Aga, central heating and open fires the barn stayed snug, despite the wet weather.
The kitchen comfortably accompanied our culinary efforts with the large table easily coping with our group. Having two sitting rooms was also very handy as the TV watchers were able to settle in to watch the films on offer over the New Year without disturbing the others. The barn was well used (table tennis) and the walks around the area were lovely. I also need to mention the amazing pub food at the nearby Prince of Wales (check out trip advisor).
We fully intend to come down again - thanks, your barn is a welcome haven from our normal busy lives!!! …
