“Nice and clean place” We had great time, the apartment was perfect for our big family. Really close to the undreground and with Oysters it is not expansive at all to get to central London. Even when we got back late night, we felt safe. Great commun

Windermere House
More than a house, this became our British home during our stay. Perfect location.

Our Christmas stay at Windermere House was incredible. The house was spacious for our family of five and was amazingly well-stocked. As a chef, I am accustomed to cooking in kitchens with Stone Age tools but this kitchen was different. Every utensil I needed was there. Not only did I have everything I needed to cook a proper Christmas dinner, but the kitchen and entire house was CLEAN! There was no need to pre-wash anything (as has been the case in other AirBnB type rentals). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. Towels, pillows and comforters were plentiful. There is also a washer/dryer in the kitchen which was essential for us. We traveled with our 15 year-old triplet daughters who also loved the home. At first they thought they might miss having Christmas at home but they quickly fell in love with the house and the neighborhood. They loved spending a quiet holiday in a British home that we could call our own for a few days. Looking back on our trip which included stays in three properties between London and Paris, Windermere House was hands-down our favorite. In terms of location, the house is a bit outside of city center but that's to be expected if you're looking for a quiet residential property. That said, Northfields tube station is literally a 4 or 5-minute walk away. Northfields is on the Piccadilly line, which will leads to many attractions. Piccadilly provides direct access to places like: Heathrow Airport, Kensington Palace and Gardens, Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square (theaters), and the British Museum. If you're headed to Paris via the Eurostar, the Piccadilly line will take you to to St. Pancras station. All this, from a quiet neighborhood in Ealing. In terms of food and supplies, we were able to find every needed ingredient at the nearby Sainsbury's and Tesco's markets. There's also a nice park just across the way. On a personal note, this review would not be complete without a heartfelt compliment and thank-you to Vanessa, our property manager. She went far beyond normal expectations of a manager. She kindly provided two little table-top Christmas trees to make the home feel like Christmas. Her first introduction to our family was when our flight arrived 15 HOURS late. Instead of our original 8AM arrival time, we instead landed at 11PM. Most of the customs agents had been sent home, leaving a skeleton crew to process a few hundred people. At 1AM when we arrived at the house, Vanessa was kindly waiting for us. Mind you, it was now Christmas Eve morning. She also played a special role for us in slipping some gifts under the tree while we were out, surprising our daughters. Our girls still don't know how we pulled that off. While I would never expect this level of accommodation, I am beyond grateful for Vanessa's help. When we as travelers search for accommodation, particularly in international locations, we want to be assured that the listing is real and the manager is fair and kind. I offer you the assurance that you can consider any property listed by Wright Apartments. We are hoping to return to London this summer and will be calling Vanessa again.see more

Amazing house in a quaint neighborhood within a 20 minute train ride to London

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our 4 teenage children. Plenty of newly renovated space in a quaint house and neighborhood. Rich welcomed us late at night with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers, brief orientation and travel tips in spite of our plane delays. He was very accommodating and friendly offering to grocery shop for us and made sure we had all we needed. House even has a backyard and grill. Loved the large park 2 blocks away and the train station another 2 blocks. I jogged in the park each morning and was beautiful. Literally a butcher, baker and candlestick maker (well candle and card shop) a block away as well as a grocery store and several good restaurants. Quiet neighborhood to enjoy and relax after a hectic, crowded day touring London. Loved it!see more
large family apartment up to 7
A great find!

The apartment is very clean and comfortable and ideal for our family including 2 teenagers. It is only a short walk to Hanger Lane underground station (Central Line) so perfect for seeing the sights at any time of day. Maria and Stefano always communicated quickly which gave us confidence we had made the right choice. We would not hesitate to stay again if we needed a base in London.see more

Ideal home away from home....

This is an amazing house. So well located and well connected. There is a Tesco just at the corner and the bus stops and tube station just a skip away. The house has good size three rooms, one of which is really beautiful as it has a sky roof. The luxury of two bathrooms is more than one can ask for. we had visited with our two teenage sons and loved our stay here. Would highly recommend this place and if given a chance would love to visit again. Special thanks to Sandra and Edin who were very helpful and flexible as per our requirements. All in all the best place to live in if you are in London.see more
Orchards House
Mrs

We stayed at the Orchard house for over 3 month while we had some building work going on in our own home. It is a lovely and welcoming house with a nice little garden. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and baking. The beds are very comfortable, which is a big plus as nights can be short with two small children. Also the location of the house is ideal. Close to a beautiful park, shopping, restaurants and tube station. The road itself is quiet, with free parking not far from the property. We enjoyed our stay very much. A big thank you to the manager and owner for looking after us so well and for being very flexible regarding our leaving date.see more
