    Quality accommodation

A lovely cottage with really nice fixtures & fittings. Set in the heart of the new forest there's a good chance of ponies on the doorstep & just within walking distance of Burley village, otherwise a short drive. We tried the Burley Inn on the first day and the food as so good we didn't get round to going anywhere else when eating out. It's a long trip for us (from Edinburgh) but worth it. Would definitely recommend it. see more

    Best house in the villlage

We stayed here for three nights with the dog. The house is so cosy and relaxing.we brought more stuff than we needed as everything is there including dog bowls, tea, milk, sugar and wine!. The dog coudn't wait to get through the front door and he settled in immediately. This was his first holiday and I wasn't sure if he would - a perfect sign of a welcoming house in a great area! He had a huge smile on his face the whole time. The doggy bath was really useful to wash the sea water and sand off him after coming back from the beach. The village itself is very friendly and the furry bloke was welcome everywhere. The forrest is right on the doorstep which made a welcome change from taking him on the bus to the parks which we have to do back home. We brought the car but you don't really need it as there are tour buses that take you around. This holiday exceeded expectations. What started out as a short break for the dog turned out to be a great holiday for everyone with more to do and see than expected, even just hanging out in the lovely relaxing house was great in itself! I will be back again for a longer stay. see more
