Frog Corner Main House, Pool & Landscaped Gardens
I only have wonderful things to stay about our stay at Frog Corner! We were a group of 12 women on a Hen Party weekend. We were all able to stay very comfortably in the house. All of the pictures do not to justice to the size and comfort of the space, or the natural beauty that surrounds the house. And just a short 10 minute walk away is a stunning panoramic view of the whole countryside!
Sandra was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating of all our needs.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend Frog Corner to any of my friends. …
Upper Wood End Farm Holiday Cottage No. 1
Upper Wood End Farm Cottage
Upper Wood End Farm Cottage No 1. - once I found it ( use owners directions not Sat Nov Postcode ) was all I could wish for for a nice peaceful stay. Cottage a bit small but very well equipped - Central Heating very good - also shower good - two things that were very necessary in a snowy March. Wi Fi easy to use - in fact everything at this cottage was all I could wish for. Rita very helpful but not obtrusive - just wish I could have stayed longer. …
Upper Wood End Farm Holiday Cottage No. 2
We stayed at a superb establishment with our dogs. Right from the start, we and the two dogs felt at home. being countryside people, we were glad that Milton Keynes and its traffic were far enough away that we could forget it was there.. Rita greeted us with her two dogs, her own dogs were very friendly and all the dogs got on well. Facilities at the holiday cottage were excellent, extremely clean and Elizabeth thought the bed was the most comfortable she had used for many a year. Lots of easy walks in the area. We were there for a car meeting at Woburn Abbey so didn't explore much. Excellent parking for many cars. In all, we highly recommend staying there. Rita was delightful. …
The Barn Bunk Room - Group Accommodation Outfields
A bit grubby but great hosts
Location was great and facilities were ok. I needed to re wash everything in the kitchen before using as so dirty and greasy (most likely from previous guests). I know it's a barn but didn't expect so many flys and thick cobwebs, and also bird pooh over the sofas.Beds are seriously needing updating some so many springs out. However , the hosts were excellent and welcoming, the garden was huge with lots of tables, the chandeliers in the bedroom are a great touch. For a weekend away with a group it was good and would recommend for that purpose. …
Spacious and lovely
The Stables is a property which has been renovated with an eye for taste and quality. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. My family and I have been very comfortable here. …
We stayed 16 nights and enjoyed it immensely. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, immediately responding to any requests. We had a large family lunch one day and asked for more chairs. The next thing we knew an extra barbeque table and six chairs appeared. A little fenced garden made it child safe. The golf course was excellent and we were able to borrow clubs. There is a good coffee shop on site and a top class pub nearby for meals. We loved the countryside. The house was very clean and the bedrooms spacious. We found the fridge a bit small as there were no fittings inside the door, but this did not mar our stay. We would certainly go there again. …
