The Farmhouse at West Drayton Farm is a gorgeous newly refurbished farm cottage set within 13 acres of grounds in the village of West Drayton, Nottinghamshire, close to the market town of Retford and 18 miles west of the city of Lincoln.

The Farmhouse makes a luxurious get away for groups of up to 18 people. With 5 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen and multiple reception areas it makes a comfortable retreat for family get togethers, reunions or special occasions. It’s also a great venue for company retreats, small clubs or activity group retreats.

The grounds with their manicured lawns, established gardens of flowers, trees and shrubs make for relaxing walks or fun exploration. There is plenty to see in our grounds with our living barn, water fountain, private lake, summer house on the lake plus the river Maun marking out our eastern boundary. Come have a picnic by the River or simply relax staring out over the lake, however you choose to spend your time at West Drayton Farm, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a great place to stay.

The Farmhouse is a stunning 3 storey country character cottage which holds the premier position at the western end of the farm with roadside access to the village of West Drayton.

The property has 5 large bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, 2 of which are en suite shower rooms, plus we have a downstairs shower room and a family bathroom which has a shower and a beautiful free standing bath. The Kitchen is well equipped with all the white goods and cooking equipment you will need for hassle free cooking and entertaining with plenty of seating and dining areas. Both our Lounge and snug have fireplaces for warm, cosy and comfortable winter nights plus we have a Private Garden with Hot tub and BBQ area with outside seating and dining

On the ground floor we have:

• A large L shaped kitchen diner with seating for 10 people.

• A Large living room with connected dining area with seating for 16.

• Additional reception area (snug) which has a sleeper couch and can be used as another bedroom.

• Downstairs shower room.

• Private Garden with Hot Tub, BBQ and additional seating for dining.

The second floor has the following:

• 2 spacious double rooms with en suite shower rooms, perfect for couples. One of which has an additional single bed.

• Large double room with double bed plus an additional single bed. Ideal for couple and child or group of friends.

• Family Bathroom with WC/Basin, shower and free standing bath.

• Small reception area with a table and seating for 4. Suitable for working, but much more fun for reading or playing board games.

The 3rd floor consists of:

• 2 Large Family rooms with a double and 2 single beds.

• Play area with bean bags, TV and Xbox.

There is plenty of private and secure parking within the grounds of West Drayton farm and the Farmhouse enjoys its own private Garden with a large BBQ area that has a very large table and seating for about 12 people. The rest of the farm is also available for guests to walk, explore and enjoy. Over our 13 acres of land we have:

• A small lake with a summer house in the middle

• Woodland areas to explore

• Open paddocks and grassed areas suitable for ball games

• River front access to the river Maun

• Picnic areas

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jamie/ Ankie (the owner) a message.

If Jamie/ Ankie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
