Response from the manager
Thank you for your feedback Dermot. Having reviewed your complaint and the photographs you sent through to us, I would like to apologise that Heythrop didn't live up to your expectations. Had we been aware of the issues you experienced during your stay we would have endeavoured to send somebody to the property to assist you. I would like to clarify that the owner of Heythrop has assured us that the dishwasher and fridge were working fine and we haven't received any complaints from other guests concerning this, either before or after your stay. We do appreciate that the photographs you sent to us illustrate that some of the internal furnishings should be updating and that the bathroom would benefit from a deeper clean. However, the owner would have been happy to complete this during your stay. Nevertheless we thank you for your constructive comments. Kind Regards, The Customer Relations Team
