The Lincolnshire region

Ideal location for Cycling, bird watching or a pleasant walk in rural Lincolnshire, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but near enough to pop for a meal and a pint at the resort of ,Mablethorpe (20 min drive) , Cleethorpes (25 min ) or Skegness (30 min), Inland we have the beautiful Market town of Louth always worth a couple of hours browsing around its quaint local shops, If you fancy a trip further a field then why not try historic Lincoln , backdrop for the movie 'Da vinci Code' (45 min).

Alternatively just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of rural Lincolnshire.

Just down the coast is Skegness, with its beach and all the usual holiday attractions, for those wanting a more relaxing visit to sandy beaches there are many quieter places around Chapel St. Leonards. Further up the coast is Cleethorpes with the fabulous Pleasure Island. Inland, history is close by in Horncastle, Alford with its Windmill and at Tattershall where you can climb its medieval castle. A visit to Cadwell Park on a race weekend is a must for motorsport enthusiasts. To the North is Hemswell, home of the largest antique centre in Europe, there is also a Huge Sunday market and boot sale with bargains galore. Closer to home is the market town of Louth. Market days are Wednesday, when the open air auction takes place, Friday and Saturday. Louth is the place for shops, cinema, swimming, pubs, clubs and restaurants. There are numerous other villages and local attractions around us, too many to list, but we must mention Lincoln, a visit is essential, walk through some of the cobbled streets to the magnificent Catherdral.
