This is a stone built old blacksmiths shop that has recently been fully converted and restored to a high standard to provide self catering accommodation. It has a brand new fully fitted kitchen with dual fuel range cooker, plenty of workspace, microwave, washer, tumble dryer and ironing facilaties. Recliner leather suite. Top quality memory foam beds. Two bathrooms, (one en-suite). The cottage has river frontage and trout fishing is available for guests. This has an open plan garden and children should be supervised at all times due to the location of the river.

This main bedroom of this property has an en-suite wc, shower and wash hand basin, along with a king size memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a small double bed. And the third bedroom has two single memory foam beds. The property also has a family bathroom with good quality shower over. The property has all new furnishings, new carpets, curtains, recliner leather suite, and all electrical appliances including an american fridge freezer, with ice and chilled water. There are also brand new, top quality beds. The property also has gas central heating. Private trout fishing is available for guests.

The Cottage is situated only 2 miles from Kelso, in small village, with countryside views towards the Cheviots. In the Scottish Border Town of Kelso, there are many shops and interesting places to visit. Outside the cottage there is off the road parking withing the grounds of the cottage, it also has a large open plan garden which runs up to the river, children should be supervised at all times. There is a second detatched cottage under the same ownership that is in the same piece of land that is also available to let. The cottage is spacious and can either be let on its own or in conjunction with the other cottage, this would be ideal for two groups of people up to 12 persons, that wish to go on holiday together but with their own self catering accommodation. Floors Castle 2 miles away, Golf courses nearby, Kelso Racecourse and the Borders Union Showground nearby.

The property is on the main bus route.

The balance of the accommodation is payable 8 weeks prior to your stay.

“Great and exactly as described” We stayed for the weekend and it was home away from home. Well equipped and furnished. It was perfect for what we needed which was a base to attend a nearby family wedding. “Lovely Cottage well furnished, clean and comfortable, great beds” This lovely cottage is very spacious and has all mod cons that are needed, it was lovely and clean and well furnished. Lovely en-suite and all newly fitted out. Its in a good situation and has private parking, its in a nice quiet village it has great views. Great location for the Racecourse and golf courses and fishing. The eden water meanders through the garden. Ideal place to relax or use for a base to tour The Scottish Borders.
