"Perfect place to stay"

Thank you for a lovely review. We are very proud of our gardens and the woodland walks. We are pleased you used the log fire and enjoyed the Dorset lakes view from the lounge window. Sunsets are stunning from here, especially in the spring and winter with the low angle of the sun. Hope to see you again. Sonia, HolidayInDorset.

"Lovely situation and well kitted-out"

"Extremely helpful owner and assistant. Beautiful house"
before our stay I spoke to Sonia on a number of occasions regarding my husband who is in a wheelchair. I can only say I have never had such good service regarding the information given for a disabled person. The house is lovely, the grounds and view are delightful. We saw a roe deer in the garden on 3 occasions and saw a number of birds, the most interesting being a pair of bullfinches that came nearly everyday and 2 sightings of a green woodpecker.
Sonia visited when we were there and when she realised that the bed was a little low for my husband, she produced a set of bed raisers.
Unfortunately we did not get good weather so were only able to use the patio on one occasion, but it is south facing so gets sun until quite late in the day. There is a barbecue provided.
There are 3 pubs within half a mile of the property, we went to the Dudsbury Hotel, for a lunch and a dinner, once again because of the weather we were not able to sit outside, but there is a lovely deck and the pub is wheelchair friendly with adequate parking and plenty of space between tables. (need to let them know when you get there and they will put a ramp at the front door.

"Comfortable to All"
This property was homely, relaxing and comfortable.
acccessible for parents and with twin bedroom with ensuite they felt they they could manage the facilities provided
Thank you. This couple brought their elderly parents with them and are referring to the fact that the parents found the downstairs twin en suite room and other equipment very good for their needs. We have a level M2 accessibility award [partial wheelchair user] from VisitBritain of which we are very proud.
