This property was homely, relaxing and comfortable. acccessible for parents and with twin bedroom with ensuite they felt they they could manage the facilities provided Response: Thank you. This couple brought their elderly parents with them and are referring to the fact that the parents found the downstairs twin en suite room and other equipment very good for their needs. We have a level M2 accessibility award [partial wheelchair user] from VisitBritain of which we are very proud. |
Guestbook for Birchcroft
Date of Arrival : May 21, 2010
Review by - Marion, Peter, Rosaline & Newy
"We had a wonderful second visit at Birchcroft which was just as comfortable and enjoyable as our first visit, the icing on the cake this time was the weather, I think we had the best weather of the year so far.
The house is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean with all the comforts of home and the grounds that the house stands on have to be seen to be believed. The wild life and scenery is breathtaking. We were lucky enough to see a deer briefly this time but the land is teeming with rabbits, squirrels, foxes and many varieties of bird life. The Birchcroft TV was utterly amazing and we felt humbled in being able to watch the baby Blue Tits in their nest with both parents popping in and out but especially the Mother who was kept busy all day long and snuggling down with her babies at night. We were truly privileged to witness nature at its best.
Because of the wonderful weather we were able to explore the local woodland and countryside and to see the Mares and their foals in a neighbouring field.
We made the most of the veranda where we could sit all day long just staring at the stunning scenery.
Mrs Hall and her team were only a phone call away for help or advice as to places to visit etc and are all very accommodating and friendly.
Our week went by only too quickly but this is definitely a place to return to time and again."
