About the home

Warren View is a fabulous one bedroomed apartment, with additional sleeping facilities in the sitting room. The location of this property is perfect for a relaxing and memorable holiday for all ages.

It is a ground floor apartment and has French doors which lead on to its own private balcony, where the beach is only a few steps away. A few steps in the opposite direction and you will find yourself on the Marina, overlooking the wide range of sailing and motor boats which are moored there.

The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and is very light and airy with a partial sea view. Taking your picnic onto the beach from here to watch the spectacular sunsets is a must.

The West Country / Devon region

South Devon is the most beautiful part of the country, with its breathtaking scenery, delightful little villages and gorgeous sandy beaches. There is plenty to do for people of all ages, activities that range from walking, cycling, golf and endless opportunities for those people who love to participate in the various water sports.

It has a truly impressive coastline and is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Exmouth area

Exmouth has a buzzing town centre with many shops, bars and restaurants and also has its own cinema.

There are two miles of a gorgeous sandy beach, where you will find many activities for the children, which include crazy golf, play areas and miniature railway. There are also many bars and restaurants along the sea front overlooking the stunning Jurassic coastline. Watersports are very popular in Exmouth which include, kite surfing sailing and canoeing. There is a nature reserve, coastal walks and plenty of places to cycle.

The City of Exeter with its stunning cathedral and excellent shopping centre is easily accessible by car or even better by train which runs from Exmouth to Exeter town centre regularly each day.

Exmouth town centre and the beaches are within a five to ten minute walk from the Madison Wharf apartment.

“Served our purpose well” We found the flat easily from the instuctions provided and it was clean, tidy and warm and everything was as described in the advertisment. It was perfectly adequate for two people but may be a little cramped for four as storage and kitchen facilities are a bit limited. We could not operate the cooker and assumed it was broken so we rang the caretaker/agent who said he would be with us in 5 minutes. It turned out that the only failure was with our cooker operating skills and we were able to cancel his visit but it was reassuring to find that he would be available at such short notice. We visit family in Exmouth one of whom is wheelchair bound and she was able to visit us easily via the ramp and double patio doors. The marina complex is very attractive and quiet with fine views over the sea, estuary and marina although you can't actually see the sea very well from the flat if you are sitting down due to the sea wall but a few short steps away is a small and quiet beach. The area is mostly pedestrian and therefore very little traffic noise. The town centre, main beach, bus station and train station are within walking distance. Unfortunately the amount of dog mess on the foot paths is truly shocking.
