The Dorset region

Dorset has for a long time been one of the best kept secrets of the West Country, however, being so easily accessible it is becoming one of the most favoured holiday destinations in the South. The Jurasic Coast is now a world famous heritage site and offers wonderful coastal walks and long sandy beaches at Weymouth and Studland.

Dorchester

Stratton is a small village 2 miles north of Dochester. The Saxon Arms is on the green at the center of the village - which is walkable from the Lodge.

Dorchester is only a short drive away with a wide array of shops and activites.
