Situated on the Ground floor of the historic Drill Hall within the heart of Crieff, this newly created, 4 Star, two bedroom apartment is luxurious yet comfortable, with space to relax.

We can sleep 4, plus 2 with sofabed in lounge. Included is free use of new Travel Cot and High chair. All gas, electricity, fluffy white towels and linen is included.

Free on street parking is only 100 yards from door. There is space for drop off at the gate to property.

Master is double with ensuite. Second Bedroom is flexible, either superking or twin on request. Small Double Sofabed in lounge.

Self contained with terrace (external smoking area, if required) and bench the property. We are on the public transport route and are easily accessed from Stirling and Perth. The owners are on site to assist with immediate queries and will help you whenever possible.

With full Multi Room Audio, you can enjoy relaxing in one room whilst the family enjoy the full integrated home cinema experience. Full Instructions are in the manual, however the owners usually meet you to hand over key and settle you into the apartment and make you familiar with the apartment, the workings of Tv etc; so that you can quickly let your holiday begin.

There are many local attractions, boutique shops, Deli;s and speciality shops only a short stroll from the apartment. Restaurants and places to dine are in abundance and at prices to suit all budgets. If you discuss your preferences the owners are happy to provide information on what places may suit your tastes and happy to pre book for you.

Be it activity or relaxation, child free breaks or family holidays there is something for everyone. Local sports facilities offer a full spectrum of activities, again the owner can provide information relevant to your stay in Crieff Armoury.

Situated in the heart of Perthshire we are perfectly placed to enjoy a short day trip to many major tourist attractions in Perth, Stirling, Edinburgh, St Andrews to name only a few, or try our local Golfing, excellent Dining, wonderful parks, riverside walks, climbing or just relaxing! Apartment is fully equipped with no extras.

Owners are adjacent to assist with useful advice and information on making the most of your holiday in Perthshire, Owners are discrete, happy to help, will not intrude on your holiday.

Due to historic nature of the property there is no wheelchair access there are 8 steps and handrail to the ground floor.

The bathroom is bath with shower as we believe after a busy day and if you have children both it is essential. There is Master with Ensuite Shower, this is easy access for those with poor mobility.

There is enough crockery and cutlery for guests however do not accept more staying over than specified due to insurance. We love dogs however cannot accept them in the apartment and it is a no smoking please inside. However we do have a terrace with a bench.

As we are designers the apartment is an example of our work with full lighting control, full multi room audio and home cinema, you only need to press a button to illuminate specific areas and set the scene for pleasure, dining etc. We have a low energy lighting and try to maintain a low carbon footprint, we recycle as much as we can. We give full instructions to this simple system.

Full details in welcome pack. If you require a breakfast pack or other food requirements on your arrival this can be arranged for you! We like to help our guests enjoy their stay with us and assist where we can!

There is on street parking , which is free. Private access is off a side street in the traditional market town. There is a area outside suitable for bikes and prams which is off street. There is also a BBQ Available on request

Local facilities offer all sports swimming and spa treatments, which are all withing walking distance. If you wish, hunting, shooting and fishing or just enjoying some spa time, we have many local contacts. Be it Bat walks, or mountain climbing we can direct you towards experienced individuals. Just ask!

We can accept Grocery deliveries on your behalf, please contact us to arrange this, also we have a friendly mobile hairsylist, qualified babysitter and can offer a cleaning service if you are staying longer. Please enquire for quotation

Apartment sleeps 6 with two bedrooms which has superking size bed which can be made up into 2 singles on request.

In September 2014, we have added a Gaggia Coffee machine, easy to use this can make both cafe style coffees and hot chocolates, perfect for cosy winter evenings.

We have also added new bedlinen as part of our constant maintenance of our four star rating.

The Perth and Kinross region

Perthshire is a wonderful location with Museums, Galleries and Castles on you doorstep. Doors open days take you to locations rarely seen there is also Galleries open day where you can visit artists in the own workshops. Historic Scotland has many locations locally. Perth is great for shopping dining or just enjoying a bustling city. Off the beaten track there are rural locations which can take you back a century or two. Visit a roman legions grave or the oldest yew tree in the world. Picnic on a roman fort, climb a turret, fight an imaginary battle or two, be in for adults of children there is modern and historical interests for all the family.


Crieff is the traditional Capital of Strathearn, this ancient market town in historically of interest as this was the traditional meeting place of the ancient cattle drovers who met here annually to trade cattle. Bonnie Prince Charlie spent time here plotting! A Spa town famous for its Breweries, Distilleries, Crieff Aerated Water and Hydro. Our Victorian Macrosty Park has recently invested over £1 million and has wonderful facilities for all the family. We have many attractions, Drummond Castle, Auchingarroch Wildlife Park, Ceramic Experience, the Famous Grouse Distillery, Caithness Glass and Crieff Visitor Centre as well as many walks, rambles and a few hills to climb. The local facilities include Swimming Pool, Sport facilities and Golfing. Our Monthly Farmers Market is a delight and there are many local specialist Shops and Fabulous restaurants to ensure all your holiday expectations are met. Spa treatments can be arranged locally.

"Excellent place, well worth a visit!"

Lovely place which was made even better by very welcoming and helpful hosts. Located very near town centre and just round corner from supermarket which was very handy. Apartment had all mod cone, very clean and well maintained and would happily stay again. Although no dedicated parking, was not a problem and could always park just a few yards from the place. Excellent base from which to tour this part of Scotland.

As an apartment rather than a detached property and centrally located in the town, free on street parking is only a short stroll from the door. We think that the location is perfect for full enjoyment of local facilities. We also enjoy meeting new guests and allow them their privacy but are on hand if they need us and enjoy welcoming them into our unusual historic property for coffee if they would like that interaction. We are here to help you make the most of your stay in beautiful Perthshire. All arrive as guests and many leave as friends!

"Crieff Armoury is ideal if you want to discover The Highlands and the big cities."

First of all before we actually want to the apartment Catrina was very helpfull providing no less than 44 pictures of the apartment. We were really enthused by these and in real life it did not disappoint at all. Chiara and Catrian welcomed us and both were very helpfull again!
It was clean (could use some more hoovering though) and looked very new and well kept. TV set: great. WiFI was very good also, fast and reliable for those days that the weather is too poor (which it never was). The rooms were very cosy and the beds were good too, we were always well rested when we woke up. Just a great appartment. It is telling that the biggest complaint we can think of is the somewhat compelx lighting system. Even that is a minor quibbl to our mind.
Crieff itself is a small town with everything you need. Various choices of takeaway food, nice restaurants, supermarket is just 100 metres away (Coop). People in Scotland tend to be very nice!

What else is there to say? Next time we go to Scotland we are quite sure to book the same appartment again!
