This first floor maisonette sleeps up to 6 people in 3 separate bedrooms ). Perfect for families and couples.

Situated between the River Avon and Stour, a pleasant walk away from Christchurch town centre, an ancient market town located at the point where the rivers Stour and Avon meet. It has something for everyone, Riverside walks, ferry boat rides, boat hire, fishing, crabbing, Children's splash park. Close to Bournemouth beaches and lively night life, the magnificent Dorset World Heritage Coast and the tranquil New Forest National Park,

The apartment has a lounge diner and a well equipped modern kitchen. Two double bedrooms and 1 twin. The bathroom features a bath, separate shower and wc. There is also an additional separate wc next to the main bathroom. Gas central heating, 24 hour hot water. Power points throughout. Towels and linen are included within the tariff. Off road parking for one car.

"A beautiful property, clean and spacious with many added bonus's"

My sister-in-law, 6 year old twins and I spent one week at this property. We arrived at Christchurch train station which is just around the corner to the property let, and were met by Sandra and her children and given a warm welcome and lots of information regarding the area.

The property had a lovely feel, it was airy, spacious and very clean. The owners had thought of everything to make the holiday enjoyable. I liked the fact there was a washing machine and a proper freezer with 5 sections and plenty of utlitlies. A lovely large shower in the bathroom with a sink, bath and loo, and a separate toilet next to the bathroom, and plenty of towels. All three bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. There were toys and books for the children, tea, coffee and milk (and a very tasty dorset cake !). The living room are two very comfortable seatees and an nice dining table and chairs.

You couldn't fault the location, we were an 8 min walk to the town with shops and cafes along the way, and in the opposite direction of the town, there was a very large soft play area, which is a 5 min walk. We walked along the Stour Road to the beautiful beach which is about 1.5 miles 'ish, passing Tuckton Tea Gardens along the way, but you could easily get a bus from opposite the property which would take you straight there. We were allowed to use the beach hut twice that week but due to the weather, we didn't get around to it.

We had some lovely meals out : The Boathouse by the Quay serves gorgeous food, as does the Captain's Table. The delicatessen (a little different) is very good and Kelly's Kitchen (if you like toasties) and nice coffee.

My daughters loved the recreation park and splash park by the Quay and feeding the ducks and swans. They also enjoyed the bouncy castles and lucky dips on Bank Holiday Monday by the Quay.

I could go on forever… it's a beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit, and that coupled with this property, made it a very special week.
