Set on a picturesque farm in beautiful countryside, Creeksea Place Barns provides luxury holiday accommodation in a lovingly restored historic Essex barn.

Creeksea Place Barns offers 8 barns of varying sizes. Each barn is unique and stylish, and features exposed beams, high ceilings and antique futrniture. With a blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, Creeksea Place Barns is the perfect place to stay with friends and family!

Creeksea Place Barns is located just outside the coastal town of Burnham on Crouch in Essex. The site features a popular fishing lake and has access to a variety of footpaths. Creeksea Place Barns is within a 10 minute walk of Burnham on Crouch train station with direct routes to London, and Creeksea golf and sailing clubs are just down the road!

Swift Barn sleeps 5-6 people. It has a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area lit by a gorgeous tiffany chandelier and features natural slate floors, rustic beams and beautiful antique furniture. Swift Barn has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so is ideal for large families or groups of friends. The spacious master bedroom suite has a grand king-size bed, private seating area and ensuite bathroom. There is also a fantastic double bedroom high in the eaves of the roof on a mezzanine level, a single bedroom, and family shower room.

As with all of our barns, Swift Barn offers a fully equipped, modern kitchen including cooking facilities, a fridge and a dishwasher. Digital TV, DVD player, book and DVD library, and access to wireless internet are included free of charge. All linens and towels are provided and included in the price.

Creeksea Place Barns is located on a working farm and consists 100 acres of arable land. The farm houses a friendly flock of sheep, 3 miniature ponies, and a few boisterous pigs! The site also features a popular fishing lake, stocking carp. Visitors to Creeksea Place Barns can enjoy a relaxing day of fishing or spend time feeding the animals! There is also a play area with climbing frame and swing set for children, and a table tennis table for all!

Essex is a largely rural county dotted with pretty villages and beautiful farmland. Essex is steeped in history and there are a great variety of historical sites to visit in the county including Anglo Saxon, Medieval, Roman and Tudor architecture. Burnham on Crouch

Burnham on Crouch is a historical, riverside town, often referred to as the 'Cowes of the East Coast' due to the popularity of sailing in the area. In August during 'Burnham Week' sailing enthusiasts converge from all over the country on the 15 mile stretch of water from the town to the open sea. The riverside walk has numerous nautical attractions and the quayside is lined with beautiful old houses. Burnham on Crouch has a range of excellent pubs and restaurants, and the town centre is well served with convenience stores and interesting shops.

Walking and Cycling

Creeksea Place Barns has access to a range of beautiful coastal footpaths for walking and cycling. Enjoy views of the River Crouch, explore the countryside, or walk into town for a drink at the pub!

Sailing and Golf

Creeksea Sailing Club and Burnham on Crouch Golf Club are within walking distance of Creeksea Place Barns. Burnham on Crouch Golf Club is a Members club. The main course is a Parkland type with 18 holes over 6056 yards, with a par of 70. Creeksea Sailing Club provides excellent launching facilities on the River Crouch, away from the mass moorings off Burnham. The club is affiliated with the RYA and has a boathouse with changing area, toilets and showers.

The sea walls around the Dengie Peninsula offer picturesque walks, and birdwatching is a popular pastime.

“Very cosy and high spec - a great place for friends/family get away” We rented Swift Barn and the Granary for a group of 10 adults and 4 kids. It was perfect. The nicest place we have stayed - and we stay in quite a few places! Kitchen was fantastically well supplied, beds super comfortable and the whole place was very high spec. Although it rained solidly for a whole day (it was November), we had a fabulous day, cooped up inside, cooking, eating, drinking and catching up on the gossip. An ideal place for a get together with friends or family. Response: Thank you for taking the time to review Swift Barn- we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with friends (despite the dreadful weather!) It is nice to know that the barns are cosy and comfortable even in November when it is pouring with rain!

“Stunning accommodation and location. This is a classy set-up” We stayed at Creeksea Place in Swift Barn for a friend's son's wedding in nearby Mangapp Manor.
