About the home

Tregullon is the perfect place for a restful Cornish holiday and we have tried to make our accommodation perfect too.
Sunnywell is a barn conversion with upside down accommodation and the best word to sum it up is luxurious. The fittings and furnishing are all of very good quality and we have tried to provide everything that you will need for the perfect holiday. Sunnywell is in its own grounds and there is plenty of parking and a pretty garden.
Our spacious lodges are of a very high spec and very cosy and comfortable at any time of the year. They are also very well equipped and have the advantage of wide doors and no steps so people with limited walking love them (especially the walk in showers). The lodges are set in a massive garden and are private to each other – as well as a large covered veranda there are individual patios with built in bbqs and plenty of parking.
All of our properties have stunning view of the Cornish countryside.

Facilities

Further details outdoors:
Sunnywell Barn is detached and in it's own grounds. It has a large concrete yard for parking and playing together with a lawn (with washing line) and flower beds. The patio hashardwood furniture and there is a bbq. In the smaller detached barn you will find a half size table tennis table , plenty to room to store bikes, surf boards etc and your washing machine and tumble dryer.

Our lodges have wonderful covered verandas and bistro furniture There is also a large, lockable store on the veranda - perfect for bikes and surfboards. On the patio there is a built in bbq and hardwood furniture. There is plenty of space around each lodge - trees nd shrubs give privacy. There is plenty of parking and a gate at the entrance that can be shut if younger children are playing outside.

Further details

Sunnywell has a spiral staircase which is not easy if you have restricted mobility.

The Bodmin area

Tregullon is in the centre of Cornwall and is ideally placed to visit all all of Cornwall. From Tregullon you can easily acces the A30 and A38.
When you stay with us you will be given a huge array of leflets and information for countless local attractions such as the Eden project,several National trust properties, Newquay zoo, Poldark Mine ans the Lost gardens of Helligan to name but a few . Cornwall has lots of family orientated visitor attraction / theme parks and lots for the grown ups - museums, galleries and amazing gardens. Don't forget the beaches, coastal walks and moors. Cornwall is bursting with great places to eat and wonderful local produce.

M5 junction 31 branch left to A30, signposted Okehampton, Bodmin
Keep on A30 for 67 miles to Innis Downs Interchange – signposted Wadebridge (A389)
New Roundabout – 3rd exit
2nd roundabout - 2nd exit (A389) signposted Wadebridge (A389) , Lanivet

About 0.5 mile turn right as road becomes duel carriageway
This right turn will take you under the A30 then past just one bungalow
turn left, signposted Lanhydrock
Keep on road for approx 1.5 miles then at old ruined building
turn left ,signposted Tregullon, this will bring you over the A30 (please drive slowly as the road now narrows) carry straight down the hill and you will come around a corner in the hamlet of Tregullon
Honeysuckle is the 2nd house on your right, the lodges are in front of you by the farmhouse entrance and for Sunnywell carry on around the corner and it is on your left.A30 from the West

From west Cornwall
Take the A30 to Innis Downs junction, whereupon take the slip road signposted Wadebridge (A389)
After about 1/2 mile, turn right as the road becomes a dual-carriageway.
This right turn will take you under the A30 and past just one bungalow whereby you will need to turn left, signposted Lanhydrock
Keep on the road for approx 1.5 miles and turn left at an old ruined building, signposted Tregullon.
This will bring you over the A30 (Please drive slowly as the road now narrows)
Carry straight down the hill and you will come around a corner into the hamlet of Tregullon
Honeysuckle is on your right, the lodges are in front of you just by the farm house entrance and just around the corner past Honeysuckle, you'll find Sunnywell on the left.

“The best accommodation Cornwall” This was our fourth stay in five years at Tregullon, and we only missed a year because we couldn't get the weeks we needed. We've been going since the lodges were new, and you'd still think that they'd only just been built given the condition that they've been kept in. It's perfect accommodation for a family. The central location, while being 20 minutes from the sea, is ideal for exploring both north and south coasts, and Lands End isn't too far for a day trip. The farm is in a beautiful, peaceful location outside of Bodmin, with good views of the area. Maple Lodge is one of four lodges in a large field. They're spaced well apart, but it's still easy for children to make friends, as ours usually do. The accommodation is immaculate and has everything that you need. We're cyclists and found the storage room on the porch particularly useful for keeping bikes in. The kitchen is well-equipped, bedrooms and bedding cosy and comfortable, bathrooms well designed. Really, there's nothing that we could suggest to improve the accommodation. The family who own the farm and lodges go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. They're very pleasant, friendly and attentive, and approachable without being intrusive. We've stayed in Cornwall many times, and this really is the best accommodation we've found.

“Friendly, helpful owners and beautiful lodges” Friendly and helpful owners. Great location - peaceful countryside, but close enough to town and easy access to visitor attractions. The lodges are clean, well appointed and very attractive.

“A fantastic central base for a holiday in North Cornwall” This is the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed at. This is our fifth year at Tregullon and as usual the lodge was furnished to the highest standard with all the little extra's (Dvd's,board games, swing ball, and beach equipment) The cream tea on arrival is always a welcome start to the holiday. The owners of Tregullon are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make the holiday fantastic treating you like a member of their extended family. The Lodge is situated in a quiet central location so it is easy to travel to the North or South coast. There is never a downside to staying at Tregullon that is why we return year after year.

“We would never stay anywhere else in Cornwall” This was our 5th visit to Tregullon and yet again we were not disappointed. The lodges are continously maintained and revamped year after year, it is like arriving at your second home. The lodges are fully equipt with everything you could possibly need - linen, towels, all kitchen utensils, washing machine/dryer even a dishwasher. After the long drive it is nice to arrive at a warm comfortable lodge and enjoy the cream tea provided. We have stayed in varying types of accommodation all over Cornwall over the years and cannot believe that we have finally found somewhere we rebook before we leave.

“Home from home” Perfect location for making the most of beautiful Cornwall. We have stayed here twice and hope to go again next summer. The accommodation is superb not only well equipped but spotlessly clean. Jill and family will make you feel very welcome but then leave you alone unless you need them. Can't recommend Tregullon highly enough.
