Cove Cottage is a barn conversion with a shared but private and quiet graveled courtyard.
Enter from the courtyard into a tiled entrance hall, One Double and one twin bedroom and bathroom lead off, stairs to lounge / kitchen areas with exposed beams. Phone with honesty box (mobile signal poor) Free WiFi, 32" flat screen TV , hard disc recorder and DVD.
For the enthusiastic cooks among you the kitchen has everything your need to conjure up a first class meal.
In the bedrooms you will find crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels for each individual guest.

Walk from the front door, Budle Bay part of the Lindisfarne nature reserve 100m...Bamburgh 2 miles by various public footpath routes with stunning coastal and inland views.
Farne Island boat trips to see the wildlife which changes with the seasons

Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle.
Berwick on Tweed and the beautiful Scottish Border area including The Cheviot Hills.

Teak garden furniture for four people to enjoy the sunny courtyard, even in cooler months you will find this a very pleasant place to sit.
Parking for one vehicle within the courtyard but further parking for another car on private road just outside the gate

Cove Cottage is STRICTLY a no smoking establishment.
Pets by request please call for details, NB they are not allowed ion the bedrooms or on the lounge furniture.
A 25% deposit is required to secure any booking followed by balance 2 calendar months before holiday commences. Deposit refundable only if able to re-let at full rental rate

The Northern England / Northumberland region
Northumberland still remains one of the undiscovered places in the UK, steeped in history with many castles and historic houses, Hadrian's Wall and Cheviot Hills to name but a few.
Boat trips leave Seahouses daily for the Farne Islands weather permitting.
The Bamburgh / Waren Mill area
Bamburgh with its stunning castle and beaches. It has many quality places to eat, a first class, but small green grocers, with home grown produce and fresh local eggs. A really good quality butcher is also located in the village.
Further afield is Seahouses with many more places to eat including two first class Indian restaurants. There are large supermarkets at Alnwick and Berwick

Newcastle airport is also 50 miles south of Cove Cottage. Easy Jet, British airways and many other airlines fly into this airport.
By Rail
The main East Coast line runs from London Kings Cross, the best Station for Cove Cottage is Berwick upon Tweed 17 miles North of Waren Mill by road.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday. The cottage is lovely. Furnished to a very high standard, clean and comfortable. Good location. Very quiet but a short drive to lots of lovely towns. Highly recommend Response: Many thanks for the positive coments, its always lovely to get good feedback. So pleased you had such a wonderful time. The peace and quiet of the cottage is something we always enjoy when we get the chance to visit ourselves, then once relaxed, can enjoy the rest of the area. thanks again and visit again soon. |
