“Perfect Christmas” Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Well equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent the Christmas period in 3 of the chalets (3 families) next to each other - each chalet had a decorated Christmas tree! Warm and cosy, despite cold, snowy weather. Would recommend.

“So good, I want to keep it a secret!” All Saints Cottage really is a little bit of paradise, tucked away down a quiet lane in Wiltshire. If you love the countryside, and are looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful area then look no further. This cottage is the perfect hideaway for a couple, but unlike some other 1-bedroomed cottages, this one is also beautifully spacious, so you don't have to squash all of your things into a tight space. No tripping over your case in the middle of the night, the lobby/corridor area accommodates all of those bulky items, leaving your bedroom clutter-free. There really is everything you need in this superbly equipped cottage, including a torch for walking at dusk, ironing board/laundry equipment, a more than generous supply of books and DVDs, and starter packs of toiletries, tea, coffee and milk. We were also delighted to find a cake, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us, a lovely welcoming touch! For me the cherry on the cake is the blissful peace when sitting in the garden. All you can hear are the sounds of nature punctuated by an occasional train passing. Whilst drinking tea in the garden we saw deer running in the woods nearby, and there are lots of birds in the area for those who enjoy twitching. Walkers will be thrilled to find an excellent, well marked network of paths around the local area. Of course there are lots of visitor attractions and national trails such as the Ridgeway, not too far away, but if you fancy an easy stroll around local villages, finishing with a beer at the local pub (The Seven Stars at Bottlesford) then this is also on offer. The owners have thoughtfully posted a map of the area in the entrance hall so you can plan your wanderings. I really can't fault this excellent property and would recommend it to anyone - but I hope there will still be a week available for me next time!

“Great lodge in a beautiful location.” We booked this lodge for a short break on the spur of the moment. I phoned Nicky the owner at 9 am and by 4 pm the same day we were in the lodge. Nicky was very friendly and helpful, even putting the heating on as soon as we rang to ensure that we would be warm on arrival. The lodge was perfect for two people and very well equipped. We loved the huge bath, high quality bed linen, all the books to read and Mr Swan to keep us amused with his antics, chasing off all the other birds from the lake. Although the temperature was below zero for the whole of our stay, we were always warm and cosy in the lodge. The setting is very tranquil, just the sound of birds, and you feel completely away from everything, but there is a good sized supermarket nearby in Pewsey. We found lots of walks to enjoy from the doorstep. I would thoroughly recommend Willowbank Lodges for a restful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

“Perfect accommodation if you are walking along the Kennet and Avon Canal” We were a group of seven adults renting two lodges. Each lodge was spacious allowing us to eat and relax together. The lodges were spotless with everything you may need for your stay supplied. You can walk to the canal in a few minutes with lovely walks in both directions. Don’t miss the amazing Caen Hill flight of locks at Devizes. We rented a narrowboat for a day which gave us a break from walking. We had a lovely week made even better with our choice of accommodation.

“Lovely location” We stayed in Heron's Nest for three nights in March. The lodge is one of five in a quiet, secluded location but close to the amenities provided in nearby Pewsey. The lodge is tastefully decorated and was spotless. Everything you could wish for is provided and during the chilly weather was lovely and warm. The lodge is well situated for visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury and Avebury. (We didn't visit as are familiar with this area.) We enjoyed a couple of local walks without the need to move the car. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Heron's nest. The only downside I can think of is that we didn't see a kingfisher!

“Excellent accomodation in beautiful surroundings.” Have just spent a week in Bullrush lodge at Willowbank Lodges. It was a perfect way to enjoy peace and quiet and nature at it's best. I am disabled and mostly in a wheel chair so to find that I could freely move around with wide doorways, and a well equipped bathroom, very comfortable bed was more than I had hoped for. Nothing was to much trouble for Mrs Wood the owner to help me to enjoy my stay. The lodge was well equipped in the kitchen and we needed to take very little with us except food. The evenings were unfortunately very wet, but the lodge was very cosy and with comfortable sofa's it was easy to relax. My husband and I went out each day to explore the lovely Wiltshire countryside, good pubs for food when we ate out, but also Pewsey is very near with good shops to stock up when needed. We were very pleased with our stay at Willowbank Lodges, and look forward to returning in the future.
