“Loved it!” We had a lovely few days here with friends. Accomodation has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice open plans kitchen\ living room. Lovely walks right on your doorstep which was nice and pub within walking distance. The views from the living room doors is lovely, so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and would definitely return again.

“Beautiful home and fantastic stay!” Visited with a group of 14 for a weekend away. The house was much bigger than we expected and beautifully decorated. The facilities are great - we made good use of the hot tub and snooker table! Abi was lovely and welcoming and popped round after we'd arrived to check everything was ok. Other than that we had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a fantastic lazy weekend. We would definitely recommend and fully intend to go back when we fancy another break.

“Great venue for a hen weekend!” We had a great stay here for my sister's hen weekend! There are two cottages that have a door adjoining them which was great! All the rooms were very beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. The only thing is that it was about a 30-40 minute drive to the centre of Nottingham, and c. £30+ for a taxi back to the station! Hopefully most people will have cars though (and Wayne gave us car parking permits for us to use). Thanks for a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend!

“Lovely log cabin in a secluded forest location” Lovely log cabin in a secluded forest location ideal for walking and a relaxing romantic break. Hot tub and the log burning stove are fantastic. The cabin is really well equipped and very private. We will definitely be going back.

“Cosy welcoming house full of character & history” We loved the house and the facilities, the rooms were spacious and cosy, with big family kitchen. The bath was amazing and big enough for two, the history and books were really interesting. Well equipped with everything for day to day needs, the only thing possibly in need of improvement was the garden which could have been level and tidied up a bit. The beds were comfy, maybe more towels could have been provided.

“Excellent” Beautiful house. gorgeous village, amazing country. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was provided, the cottage itself was more than we could have ever expected and the owners were more than helpful without ever being intrusive. We can honestly say that, throughout our entire European trip, this was the most relaxing and enjoyable time that we had. We would recommend this cottage (and the owners) to anyone who wishes to experience the real England
