“A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.” Myself and 2 friends wanted to escape London at the begining of the olympics. We certainly did. Travelling by public transport it was great that our host picked us up from the station, took us to the shops and then to the cottage, they couldn't have been kinder. 2 of us like to walk and had plenty of beautiful places to explore, by the river and up in the hills. One has had problems with her knees and could not walk far, she did not have to, we could sit in the sun (when it came out) on the terrace or strole around the beautiful garden. She could make it along the quiet lane and enjoy the river and woods without going far. The cottage had every amenity we could have wanted and we were very comfortable.

“A very luxurious and relaxing converted barn - it is an ideal location for a fun packed family holiday.” Gwedd y Glyn is an extremely well appointed and very comfortable converted barn. We used it as a base to go for walks, horse riding, red kite feeding and other fun activities. The accommodation is large enough for an extended family holiday which we did as we were 5 adults and 5 children in total. We would thoroughly recommend it and will definitely return. It was a great holiday, enjoyed by all.

“Amazing family friendly weekend” What a great place to stay! It rained most of the weekend but we hardly noticed thanks to the covered decking area and hot tub. Great location next to the river and the kids loved the rope swing- we will definately be coming back!
