“Fantastic cottage” The cottage itself is a beautiful place that's well maintained and in a really handy location for the village. We went with my 7yr old daughter too and she loved the thatched roof and easy access to the castle and play area too! Having wifi and freesat were nice surprises too, not that you really need them in such a place The local shop is well stocked and the nearby pubs offer very well priced, delicious food too. Highly recommended!

“Feels like home” As soon as we entered Wisset Cottage it felt like home. The location is great within the chocolate box village of Corfe Castle and although the cottage is on a busy road the noise is not obtrusive. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to cook meals rather than eat out. The sitting room is large and comfortable and the dining room is a delightful room for eating and socialising. The beds are very comfortable (a little too comfortable). Some of the ceilings are rather low so you do need to watch your head (but this is an old characterful cottage). Kate (the owner) was very helpful when we lost the keys to the cottage.

“Lovely cosy cottage in rural setting” We absolutely loved our stay in the Music Room! It is a beautiful cottage with cosy bedrooms (with brand new beds!) and a generous livingroom with a high ceiling into the roof pitch and a wood burning stove. There is also a sheltered terrace with afternoon sunshine. The Isle of Purbeck has lots to offer and several sights are close by. We enjoyed our walk to Corfe Castle and Studland Beach, breathtaking views at Old Harry's Rocks and Durdle Door are only a short drive away. Paul was a very helpful and friendly host.

“Wonderful garden and very sweet cottage in gorgeous countryside” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The use of the beautiful garden is a tremendous asset. We enjoyed eating and sitting at the table outside, and wandering around enjoying the flowers. The cottage is charming and stylish, a very nice living room with a big modern TV, comfy sofas, and space to eat at a table. The upstairs room and ensuite is v pleasant, all in v good decorative order, spiral staircase is tricky for frail or elderly as others have commented, but otherwise fine. The downstairs twin bedroom is rather compact, the kitchen had what we needed. There is a public footpath v near the house which leads up to the Purbeck Ridgeway, a stunning walk in either direction - to Corfe Castle or to Studland. There are great places to visit nearby, we enjoyed Studland, Dancing Ledge, Corfe Castle, TE Lawrence's house. Further afield we enjoyed Kingston Lacy. We shopped at a big Co-op in Swanage, Sainsburys in Wareham, and the well-stocked village store in Corfe. We'd love to come back

“Very comfortable apartment with very convenient location.” Tucked away in the heart of Swanage, this apartment is fully equipped & comfortable. A nice touch to have tea, coffee, milk & biscuits supplied & also to have all bedding & towels provided, The accommodation contained everything that you could wish for in a holiday let & is literally a 2-3 minute walk into the town centre & see front. It's location enabled us to explore the surrounding area with plenty of walks on the doorstep.Having free car parking at a hotel just up the road was useful & convenient, We would certainly visit again.
