Your luxury lodge is nestled in a 1/3 acre woodland dingle in the owners garden beneath a canopy of oak trees. Unwind in the hot tub, surrounded by the natural beauty of mature oaks and the lodge's modern western red cedar cladding, whilst listening to the soothing background trickle of the stream as it meanders beneath you. Sit back and relax with an evening drink on the composite decking, warmed by the Burda electric heater, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and squirrels chasing each other around the branches of the oak trees.
Oaks Lodge is accessed from a dedicated parking area by a gravel path (approximately 80m long) located along the lower level of the owners' secluded, tiered garden. As you walk along the pathway through carefully chosen shrubs and planted slopes and pass through a gateway of two magnificent oak trees, you gain your first glimpse of the lodge; the elevated balcony and front windows with the stream below flowing gently from the waterfall behind (except during periods of low rainfall!).
It's a truly unique, magical and private space and yet only a short walk into Church Stretton town offering a variety of independent specialist shops and a good selection of eateries and pubs/bars. After a day's activities you can retreat into your personal haven and relax.
Oaks Lodge has been designed with luxury and relaxation in mind, yet is offered with a realistic price tag. We want you to enjoy your stay with us, whether you are planning a romantic getaway or mini-moon, an activity break or simply some relaxing time to yourselves. From your elevated private balcony and hot tub, you can enjoy wonderful views, through the trees, of the Long Mynd and areas of the town. It's hard to believe that Oaks Lodge is only five minutes' walk away from the train station and a few minutes more into the centre of Church Stretton. It's this mix of seclusion yet close proximity to local amenities that really sets Oaks Lodge apart.
