“Fantastic location & views: cottage clean, tidy, warm and well equipt” House is on north end of Skye and took us just over an hour to get there from Skye bridge but it is worth it, and although it feels remote, it is not so remote that there are no local shops or amenities and it's not too far from Portree. Found it a good base to explore much of the north end of the island from. Cottage very well equiped, clean & tidy, snug and warm and has fantastic views and good for wildlife viewing from conservatory (white tailed eagle, golden eagle and porpoise). Owners very helpful in dealing with any queries. The twin bedroom was a bit tight for two children and clothes/toys etc. Although there is an extra quite large bedroom at the back of the house, we couldn't use it for sleeping in as there is no direct connecting door to the main house. May be good for teenage kids though that need their own space.
