“beautiful house, beautiful grounds, amazing hosts!” We are going to find it hard to top this holiday, we are just back home today and I wish we weren't home and had another week! The property is lovingingly decorated and cared for, and very homely, and you truly want for nothing, the owners have thought of everything! The beds are really comfy, and the house was extremely clean and tidy, and has quality "white goods" and furniture!.. We have thoroughly enjoyed walking freely through the many fields surrounding the cottage, with the sheep and through the orchards!.. The children (aged 5, and 2) have enjoyed being able to wake up to the sound of the ducks and sheep, and to walk freely with the sheep, chickens and ducks!... Our son also liked the newts by the pool/pond area! We also much appreciated the "little extras" in the evenings (that you do not find at many other holiday homes) such as the board games, books and dvds! We also enjoyed the table tennis! The owners also live on the farm, and were very accomodating, kind and helpful, they made us feel very welcome!... Thankyou John and Renate for the best holiday!... And of course the much appreciated jam, eggs and wine on arrival!... We will be recommending you to friends and family, and hope to come stay again sometime in the future! “Coombe Farm is a great escape from hub hub of everyday life, run by a charming family in rural Devon” We hired the farm for a week for a wedding celebration. The old thatched barn is now used as venue for celebrations for up to 70 people it still retains it's charm with the cider press at one end The original farmhouse can sleep about 14 and the annexe an additional 7 plus the use of cots The accommodation is very comfortable with library, lounge and excellent kitchen facilities. The house is decorated with fresh flowers and refreshments to welcome you There are lots of walks, fishing, swimming pool and hot tub to relax in, We had a wonderful and memorable time and the owners could not have been more helpful
