“Where historic Devon meets the majestic sea...” My boyfriend and I arrived at Waves late on a Friday on a weekend respite from London in February..and were warmly greeted by our lovely host, Emma, and shown around and made to feel at home. We felt instantly settled and that we had all we needed to get us through the weekend(the place is chalk full of any utensil, appliance, local info, game, movie that you could ever need, rain or shine!). We had a restful, comfortable sleep.
Having been to Devon before, I was aware of how lovely it is..but was completely taken aback with the view that awaited us from the sea facing windows of Waves in the morning. It was stunning. We were about a five minute walk to the sea..and had a charming old church and cemetery to stroll through directly behind the property.
We were thoroughly impressed with the location..amenities and idyllic location of Waves..and will most certainly be back.
