“Lovely Bungalow with everything you need (and great views)” We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Rostague Manor (on the same road down the lane) and had a fantastic 4 day break. The Bungalow was situated at the top of the hill in Gerrans up from Portscatho. Had a lovely little pub next door and a walk down the hill into Portscatho and you had another pub, local shop (with everything you need) butchers and a beautiful little beach. The Bungalow itself had 3 spacious bedrooms, good size kitchen (all amenities) and a big conservatory, which was very warm and bright and made a lovely breakfast setting. The Garden had amazing views out to see and enough room for my 18 month old to charge around. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and will be back.
“A perfect, stressfree seaside holiday with all amenities available.” The brilliant thing about Portscatho is that once there you don't have to get in your car if you don't want to. The Quarry is in a great location at the heart of the village and easy walking distance to everything that matters - shop, beach, pub, post office. We had a great time and thoroughly recommend it. Inside it's a haven in a superb location. It is newly renovated with lovely open plan living and kitchen area, with a balcony from which there is a wonderful view of the bay. Great for breakfast on a sunny morning. The kitchen is very user friendly, and well stocked with good quality equipment. There is a good entrance/hall area as you come in to put wet, sandy things. Lovely beaches and lovely walks from the doorstep as well as plenty of things to visit further a field.
“A little bit of heaven by the Coast” Everything about this stay was simply wonderful. The property is gorgeous with beautiful views and Denise could not of been more helpful throughout the whole process, to include leaving us biscuits and wine, to making sure we had enough information about the surrounding area.
Although the property doesn't have parking (much like most of St Mawes!) if you drive a little up the hill from the property there is plenty of parking, and plenty of helpful locals to help you find it. Some lovely bars and shops are not even a two minute walk from the property, the location simply couldn't be better.
