Very Good

“Very spacious lodge in great location”

Wanted a spcious property in a location that was close to pubs, golf and eating out. This fits the bill perfectly. 4 of us travelling with golf clubs and luggage(including food and drink) and plenty of space for all! Only a 15 min walk to the village where there is a great butcher, a bakery and a very friendly pub within the hotel. BBQ facility othe spacious deck. Would recommend.

Angely is in a ideal location. This was our first time staying here but it won’t be our last. My husband and I both have stressful jobs and this haven was just what we both needed. - away from the hustle and bustle. To find the property well kitted out , cosy and clean with amazing views was a great start to our weekend. And to watch the red squirrels and take a walk to Kings Caves was an added bonus. Many thanks.

Lovely location looking down the valley to the beach at Blackwaterfoot. The lodges all have enough space around them to be independent, providing some privacy from neighbours which is exactly what we were looking for. The lodge itself is fantastically well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. Separate utility area with washing machine, warm from the central heating boiler which means that damp waterproofs, waling boots etc can be left over the clothes airer to dry off for the next day. Kitchen is excellent. Fully equipped with more than enough crockery, cutlery, pots & pans to cook 'at home' if you decide not to go out to eat. Lots of supplies in the cupboards which was really welcome (foil, cling film, tupperware for storing leftovers etc.) All the things typically forgotten when you come on holiday, but are invaluable when self-catering. Lovely dining area with large table & plenty chairs. Selection of board games for family ,scrabble challenges' etc! Super sofa & tv area, with sky tv, selection of DVDs when even sky can't produce something worth watching. Bathrooms are great, with excellent showers. Endless hot water. Bedrooms are cosy with comfortable beds and cosy bedding. Free to use WiFi. Outside there is plenty of decking area with tables and chairs plus a BBQ. Sadly the weather did not permit a BBQ this time round, perhaps next time! We did manage breakfast and coffee on the deck some days, watching the red squirrels running around. Allan, the owner, was easily contactable if there were any problems (there weren't any), with a welcoming text in the morning of arrival, and a couple as we were about to leave; just to check everything had been okay. One of the best holidays and holiday lodges we have ever stayed in, we will be back.

As a family of two adults and two young children visiting Arran for the first time we have a lovely stay in this well equipped lodge. The facilities are modern and spacious with lovely home feel to it. The owners left clear instructions and were easily contactable. The lodge is in a lovely location a short walk to Blackwaterfoot. Arran itself was a great place to visit with lots of lovely outdoor walks on beaches/hills and through forests, The Kings Caves were a favourite of the kids as they had great fun building the stonemen. We would definitely stay here again.

The lodge is set in a quiet area near Blackwater Foot. Excellent location for a relaxed break. Lodge is superbly self contained with everything you need, just bring your own food and that's it. Can't recommend this lodge enough, very well kept. Don't hesitate if you get the chance to stay in Arran.

Just came back from an amazing break at Angely Lodge in Torbeg, the lodge has everything you need for a family home from home,the views are amazing and it's a short walk into town where you can go for a meal and drink at the hotel, The kids loved it and went swimming,horse riding and visited Brodick Castle adventure park. Will definetly be back. Brilliant.

Angely was well equipped, very comfortable and quiet, we even saw a red squirrel outside the window! The owner left very detailed guidance on the house & the surrounding area and was very prompt in contacting to welcome us or reply to any messages.

How do damage deposits work?
