“Very convenient location”
This apartment suited us very well as a base for a 4 day visit to Rome. it is very conveniently situated and within walking distance to many of Rome's main attractions. There was ample space, and having two bathrooms was a bonus. However we did have some trouble with the volume of hot water available ...we did report the 'problem' but found the only way to guarantee enough hot water was for one of us to shower at night and the other in the morning! We anticipate it could be a problem if say 4 people wanted a shower in succession. There are small issues which should be sorted - no major repairs but minor things which the agent should sort out eg. the wall fixing which should hold the shower head has evidenly broken for ages, light bulbs in all lamps should work, curtain drawing mechanism has jammed. But the apartment also has a lot to offer and is a quiet retreat at the end of a busy day sightseeing - hardly any traffic noise and yet within 1 minute walk of all kinds of amenities - including several restaurants on the adjoining street. The kitchen has all necessary amenities but to be honest we only used it to boil the kettle for a cup of tea! We made use of the prebooked taxi services from and to the airport - efficient and dependable. All in all we would recommend the apartment.
Hello,we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have fixed the hot water issue and we have taken your suggestions for the other minor things you have noticed. Thanks again!
“Fantastic apartment in the best location in Rome”
Comfortable, warm apartment with everything you need for a great stay, the location could not have been any better, we walked everywhere. It's obvious what restaurants in the area are more for tourists and not great, but walk a few streets away or over the river and you won't have enough time to try all the great restaurants. Very easy transfer from the airport and a great host to explain everything you need to know to have an awesome stay.
Thank you, we are glad you had a nice stay!
We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and found it to be comfortable and convenient. We walked to all the main attractions and when we returned to the apartment found it to be a wonderfully quiet refuge from all the noise of such a busy city. We particularly enjoyed the WiFi and the excellent heating.Massimo who met us at the apartment was very helpful as was everyone we dealt with. It was an enjoyable stay.
Thank you Georgina we are glad you enjoyed your stay!
“Fantastic location....pity about the smell!”
I was tempted to give Bollo 4 stars but, in reality, the hideous putrid smell unfortunately prvents me from doing so. Likewise, for recommending it. I nearly gagged as soon as the manager showed us in and when I commented on it, she just ignored me. The apartment had at least three vases of dead flowers so maybe that was it, although I don't think so, it was worse than that. That apartment itself was totally adequate and the location couldn't be bettered - a minutes walk from the lovely Campo di Fiori - and an easy walk to just about everything there is to see in Rome. Also very quiet despite its proximity to a lot of nightlife. It also felt very safe for my 20 something daughters to walk alone at night. If it weren't for the smell I would definitely recommend it but it was just revolting to come home to each night. I have answered the questions below as if there were no smell because too hard to answer otherwise, the smell changed everything.
Thank you! we hope to see you again soon!
“Steps away from everything!”
This is a fantastic location for sightseeing in Rome. It is literally steps away from Campo di Fiori, which turned out to be a perfect location for walking to the sights. We were about a five minute walk to the Pantheon, and within 15-20 minutes to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and more. We walked to the Colosseum, which took a bit longer but there is much to see along the way. There are hundreds of little shops and restaurants close by, as well as a taxi stand. The market at Campo di Fiori was great-we visited every morning and would hang out in the square at night watching the crowds and the entertainers. If you want to truly feel like you are living with the locals this is a great place. The apartment itself is roomy and clean. It looks just like the pictures. We arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport. This was money very well spent! I would recommend doing this, especially if you have never been to Rome, as the building is tucked away in a small neighborhood and would be hard to find on your own. The central air was wonderful, as we visited in August and it was close to 100 degrees every day. We did not really use the kitchen since there were so many shops and restaurants within walking distance but it was well equipped. I would highly recommend this apartment to others!
Thank you! We hope to see you again soon!
“beautiful and central”
very nice apartment at 100mts to Campo de Fiori. in the middle of Rome, perfect reach to many spots by foot and although so central, in a quiet area. served by buses at 15mins by car/bus from Termini station. We really enjoyed our stay!
Thank you! We are happy you had a nice vacation!
