Hideaway Apartment is a stylish, romantic first floor holiday apartment in the heart of the coastal seaside town North Berwick. As the name suggests is tucked away off North Berwick's High Street, hidden between Forth Street and the High Street - so you are a moment's walk from the shops and the beach. The apartment is pet friendly and can accommodate one small, well behaved dog. The Hideaway has its own main door and patio garden with a small bistro table and chairs. This is the perfect choice for a romantic seaside holiday in one of the finest seaside towns in East Lothian

Living room :

Relax in the living room which has a distinctive coastal theme. There are plenty of seats should you wish to invite family or guests over to join you. There are two large comfortable sofas plus a dining table to seat 4. For your entertainment there is a flat screen smart TV ( Netflix, IPlayer and Prime all available for guests to sign in using their own accounts), free WIFI and Bose speaker to enjoy your favourite music.

When the weather is good in North Berwick you will be able to enjoy the pretty patio garden where you will find bistro table and chairs.

Suitability:

This is a beautiful holiday apartment, very nicely furnished and in a great location, tucked away from the High Street. The Hideaway has tonnes of charm and is stylishly chic and we think perfect for a romantic seaside holiday break.

Pet friendly

You are welcome to bring 1 small/ medium well behaved dog. There is a small charge per dog of £30.00 per week

Please note that public parking in North Berwick can be complex as the rules vary according to season and year to year. We recommend following the signs upon arrival in North Berwick and also advise considering your options for this prior to check-in as it is unfortunately something we are not able to assist with on the day

You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart

So glad that you enjoyed your stay at Hideaway. New Covid restrictions on the High Street have meant that some parking provision has been removed temporarily at the east end. Hopefully all will be back to normal soon. Sorry once again about the boiler problems. We have since had a new boiler installed and hope that we can welcome you back in the future with the promise of a hot bath!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
