North Berwick has hosted national sailing championships frequently in several classes, whilst the West Putting Green is a firm family favourite, and a 'must do' on your list.

Early season:- A base for Rugby enthusiasts for RBS 6 Nations Rugby fixtures.

Enjoy Winter, Easter and Summer and Fall breaks for a plethora of Scotland's best golf courses.

Golfers staying here have have easy access to not only both North Berwick courses, but Archerfield, Renaissance, Gullane (Scottish Open 2018) and of course, Muirfield, (British Open Golf).

North Berwick has become a favourite of Winter Golfers from around Europe & The US & Canada. The West Links is a great location for golfers from Sweden, Norway and Germany in particular, because of the easy transport network by plane or ferry.North Berwick also enjoys one of the driest climates in Scotland with its own micro-climate. It can rain in Edinburgh yet be blue sky in North Berwick. With its pure fresh air, you are guaranteed to eat and sleep well.

Latest Review here:- Ground floor of a beautiful and impressive house provides hotel level comfort & ease, and literally the best possible location for golfers: 200 m walk to the North Berwick West Links clubhouse, 50-200m to cafes, restaurants and shops to the other direction. Superb check-in and communication.

“Very comfortable. Very relaxing”

We loved the house. Exactly as advertised. Wonderful welcome. We were shown all around the house. Informing us how everything worked An excellent welcome pack We were near all the amenities. Good walks. Good restaurants. Great ice cream shop for the children. We left North Berwich feeling relaxed and renergised. Will definitely go back again

Just enjoyed our 4th visit to Marine lodge and again the property didn’t disappoint. Exceptionally clean warm and welcoming as always and of course everything you need is there awaiting you On arrival we encountered the Xmas lights switch on with carols around the tree outside the church which was most unexpected but non the less really enjoyable We also , as well as the usual fab days we had , visited the Xmas markets in Edinburgh which were truly magical so much so we visited twice. £6.50 return on the train no car/parking worries it’s an absolute must this time of year Marine lodge/North Berwick I say no better place this time of year

“Ideal for long weekend and very comfortable”

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend along with her parents. Both bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable super-king beds. Although bathrooms are not en suite to the bedrooms, they are close by and with there being two we had "one each". The couches in the lounge are all comfortable enough to sit around for several hours if the weather is not at its best, as was the case for our stay. Central heating performs very well making the house cosy, but putting the woodburning stove on creates a good atmosphere. We only ate in for breakfast - there are plenty places to eat out within a few minutes walk - so the kitchen didn't get a full test, but it did what we needed it to do. Would happily book again if visiting North Berwick.

We spent Christmas 2015 at Marine Lodge, North Berwick. Having never spent Christmas in a holiday home, we were certainly apprehensive! We could not have been happier. From the great communication and information before our arrival, to the fantastic festive decorations in the house and the generous and thoughtful welcome pack (the kids LOVED their flashing noses!). The house itself is set back from the main shopping street in North Berwick, however it is quiet and has a beautiful entrance. Only one street from the beach it is the perfect location for eveything. The house is grand and spacious, whilst being warm and comfortable. It is decorated and finished to a high spec and the towels and bedding were of a high quality. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need - dishwasher, washing machine etc. and really benefits from a large fridge freezer! Everything was clean and well cared for and we thought it was very good value for the quality and area. We genuinely didn't want to come home. Our after 'sales' service has been great too - returning lost property and making sure we'd had a great holiday. Highly recommend for adults and children alike and would love to return.

This apartment is well appointed and well positioned with regard to the beach, shops and golf course. I have just re-booked for my 3rd stay within two years at this wonderfully spacious apartment, that is how good I think this property is. The owner and the local manager ensure that the property remains in top condition and that guests are well catered for. Book this property and you will not be disappointed.

Marine Lodge is stunning property in a fantastic location. The property offers a warm welcoming and cosy feel. It's extremely well appointed and very clean. North Berwick is a fantastic place for walking, golfing and boasts many eating establishments suiting all pallets. We will definitely return to this property and highly recommend as place to stay.

Andrew and his team have a wonderful spot at Marine Lodge nestled in the East Lothian hamlet of North Berwick. Two bedrooms and a great room with updated bathrooms and full kitchen, it offers all the amenities needed for a vacation place. Located just a simple 30 min train ride from Edinburgh so you can do the big city and still come home to a restful place. Views of the Firth of Forth from the front offer the relaxing views of the waterfront. Everything in North Berwick is within walking distance from the famous West Links for golfers to the variety of dining (most want reservations so check it out and book early especially if you are eating at Osteria). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marine Lodge and highly recommend it to others.

“Superb home from home retreat”

Great property, perfectly located for beach, golf and local shops and dog friendly. Sea view rooms, spacious bedrooms, great wet-room. Would recommend The Herringbone for lunch and Archerfield Walled Garden a short drive away. This is the second time we have stayed in 7 months. Will definitely be returning later in the year. The worst thing about this property is having to leave :o)
