From the owner

Situated in a south facing garden, no neighbours. And surrounded with its own enclosed spacious grounds beside the cottage on a quiet country estate with its own informal golf course. The Cottage has outstanding surroundings and great long views over the Borders countryside The local area offers good, unrestricted walks and we welcome 1 or 2 dogs at and additional cost of £20 per dog.

The well-equipped cottage sleeps 5 people in a double, an en suite twin with a walk-in shower cubicle, and a single bedroom. There is also a separate family bathroom which has a shower over bath and is equipped with hand grips. A cosy sitting room with a 42 inch TV. A large well-equipped kitchen / dining room complete the facilities. Visitors will be greeted with a generous starter pack of fuel for the open fire. Free wi-fi is included in cost.

Outdoors there is a lockable bike/golf shed, garden furniture, barbecue, and the garden offers ample parking at the front door of the cottage Also. 2 reclining sun chairs provided.

Dimpleknowe is well located for touring and seeing all that the Borders and the surrounding area has to offer. Supermarkets and shopping are only a 10 minute drive away and the new Borders railway - for day trips to Edinburgh - 25 minute drive to Tweed Bank station.

Perfect cottage for 3 adults and two young children. Cottage has all you need, is clean and very comfortable. Lovely garden area and lovely quiet location. Really enjoyed the stay and would go back.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jane (the owner) a message.

If Jane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
