Daffodil Cottage is a newly renovated cottage on a small country estate near Haddington, with easy access to both the beaches and golf of East Lothian and the city of Edinburgh.

**Please enquire about longer lets over the winter months**

The cottage sits in pretty and private gardens, surrounded by fields and woodland, and is very peaceful with only the sound of the birds and the occasional pony passing by. Cosy and comfortable - with a wood burning stove and Sky TV, it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The kitchen, with its brand new fittings and a Nespresso coffee machine, opens onto a private patio with beautiful views across the Lammermuir Hills.

There is plenty of space in the double bedroom for a cot or fold-up bed.

A car is essential due to the location. We are minutes away from the market town of Haddington, and 8 miles from the beaches and golf courses at Gullane, and only 17 miles from Edinburgh.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Annabel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
