The Tack Room is a wonderful cottage at the east end of the Southern Upland Way close to the coast near Dunbar. Sleeping eight the terraced converted stables has sea views from every room and consistently receives 5 star reviews from satisfied visitors.

Providing spacious accommodation, this well-equipped cottage near Dunbar is ideal for families or friends seeking a quiet relaxing coastal break with excellent walking and beautiful beaches nearby.

An upside down cottage with panoramic sea views from the first floor, this self-catering accommodation on border of East Lothian and the Borders has three ground floor bedrooms (1 double 2 twin are newly decorated) a double sofa bed in the lounge and two shower rooms. It's an exceptional home from home for families or friends.

The first floor open plan living area at this coastal farm cottage is designed to maximise the beautiful sea views on offer.

To the front of this Borders holiday cottage is a small courtyard garden, providing a tranquil suntrap to relax with a drink, watch the swallows or enjoy a BBQ.

This Cove cottage is an ideal base for exploring the varied coastline, including North Berwick and Dunbar 8 miles to the north, the beautiful, natural harbour of Cove itself and stunning Pease Bay and Coldingham beaches.

St Abb’s Head National Nature Reserve is only 10 miles along the coast with its wildlife spotting and diving opportunities.

It's a great location for a family holiday with Dunbar leisure pool and other attractions such as East Links Family Park , the Museum of Flight and Scottish Seabird Centre nearby.

Walkers have both the Southern Upland Way and the John Muir Way to explore and this dog-friendly accommodation offers a haven for bird watchers, dog walkers and anyone wanting a quiet break.

Edinburgh with it's world famous Castle and international Festival and Fringe is only 35 miles away, making it an ideal destination for a day trip.

The picturesque hamlet of Cove and Cove Harbour is situated on the SE coast of Scotland on the boundary of the Borders and East Lothian. It's one mile from the village of Cockburnspath.

Cove is ideally placed for visiting the local coastal towns of Dunbar, North Berwick and Eyemouth Coldingham and St.Abbs..Or you could cross the border and be in Berwick Upon Tweed in half an hour.

There is a regular main line train service running from Dunbar station giving easy access to Edinburgh (22 minutes), with its impressive shops, restaurants and history. The capital city’s attractions include the world famous Castle, Holyrood Palace, the National Museum of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. The city is host every August to the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe - the largest Arts festival in the world.

A little further afield lie the castles of Northumberland, including Bamburgh, Holy Island and the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens.

There are many links golf courses in the area as well as fishing, surfing and diving opportunities. This is a superb location with plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages.

Why can't I call Margaret (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Margaret (the owner) a message.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
