“Lovely cottage” Spent a week at this lovely cottage...three adults and three children. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. A real home from home. The location at the loch edge is outstanding and we enjoyed fishing and just taking in the view. It's located by the main road between Stornoway and Tarbert giving easy access to all parts of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again if visiting the Hebrides.

“Perfect setting for an active or lazy holiday.” Ease of booking, directions and map given. Croft House is warm, very comfortable and well equipped with good TV reception. The views from the cottage are outstanding with the atlandtic Ocean rolling in and out each day, and a wonderful skyline which changes constantly. Wind took some getting used to but didn't spoil the holiday for us. Not too remote and within easy reach of so many interesting locations. Most memorable for us were the beaches at ardroil and Bostadh, the reconstructed Iron age house, the Carloway Broch, the Butt of Lewis and the Calanais Stones, to mention a few. We only had time to explore the West Coast and I'm sure the Outer Hebrides will draw us back many times. Walking in the countryside was enjoyable with plenty of birdwatching for my husband and the sight of beautiful wild flowers for me, although I think we were at the end of the season for the machair. “Excellent accommodation, enchanting island experience” The cottage is lovely. Its interior is modern, suprisingly spacious,beautifully furnished and immaculate throughout. Its two large bathrooms are super especially if, like us, you are travelling with two teenagers! We arrived on a dreary day but at the cottage the fire was already lit and a tray with tea and cake awaited us in the kitchen. We relaxed instantly from our journey. Anne popped over briefly to answer our questions and we found her to be friendly and very helpful. We were relieved when the weather cleared soon after our arrival and we could explore the island easily. The location of the cottage is great for visiting stunning beaches and facinating historic sites. We loved our trip, We particularly appreciated island hospitality and would definitely recommend staying at the charming atlantic Cottage.

“Great location and a really well thought out self catering cotta” Great service from the owners, with any questions promptly answered. The house was light, well furnished and had everything we required as we do cook on holiday the kitchen was very well equipped. Nice touches such as radios and wif fi also helped to make it a home from home. The views from the house are excellent and we benefitted from a dry, bright and sunny week. Great walk round the island was a nice introduction and everyone we met friendly. The house was probably in our top 2 or 3 of self catering cottages - based on 25 plus years experience. If we did self catering we would do it like this. Thank you so much.
