The lounge is spacious and inviting with a cosy multi-fuel stove and houses the dining area. The two bedrooms are charming and simply but pleasantly decorated, giving the rooms a tranquil atmosphere. The ground floor shower room is well appointed and the outside space offers a small front garden, a patio area with furniture to sit out and relax and soak up the peace and quiet. This property is a real ‘home from home' and makes the ideal base to see all this stunning area has to offer. Ulveston, an ancient market town, is only four miles away and it has retained its community spirit, holding a thriving street market every Thursday and Saturday and there are many festivals throughout the year. One of the claims to fame Ulveston has is that it is the birthplace of Stan Laurel, and to commemorate their famous son there is a Laurel and Hardy Museum. The Furness Coast has unspoiled sandy beaches and bird watching opportunities and the Cumbrian national Park is within easy reach.
