“A perfect holiday home” The Old Shippen is an extremely well thought-out conversion of farm buildings with every need catered for. Each of our group of four adults had a double bedroom with the two bathrooms (complete with towels and a basket of toiletries) conveniently situated to serve two bedrooms. The large central kitchen is very well equipped and fresh eggs, milk and flowers were awaiting us. The large lounge with its mezzanine floor has lovely views over the Shropshire countryside and opens onto a good size patio. The property is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the the owners very helpful and friendly. I look forward very much to returning and hope for a longer stay next time.

“A perfect cottage in which to stay in a beautiful country setting” This is definitely about the best holiday letting that we have stayed at. The cottage has been beautifully converted from old farm buildings and the owners have thought of everything. There are grab rails for the elderly and toys and games provided for children. The cottage is immaculate with all facilities, warm comfortable and homely. A french door from the lounge leads out to a patio with table and chairs, (plus a small BBQ) overlooking the fields where sheep and cattle graze and there is a lovely view over to the old local water-mill. You are given a warm welcome on arrival from the owners and their friendly dog, who does not bother you again. The village of Sambrook is attractive and boasts good pubs, notably The Three Horseshoes. Strongly reccommended
