"Felt at home straight away."
Four Winds was a fantastic base for our weeks holiday. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Everything we would expect was provided with additional touches including the wifi and table tennis table an added bonus. We would certainly consider a return visit and recommend to others.
We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and that you had everything you needed. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Cottage was warm and clean , equipped with everything you could ever want . The views are stunning especially from the upstairs lounge . the location is fantastic with pubs and shop in easy walking distance. The pictures and reviews we had seen looked great but it exceeded our expectations . We all agreed we would love to return some time.

This was our forth visit to four winds, now its not like holiday, its like going home, the house is very well stocked with everything you could need, the views are fantastic, fishing off the pier is fun, afternnon tea at the barn in millhouse was so good we went back three times, wish i could make scones like the can, inver cottage on the banks of loch fyne has the friendliest staff, the food is great and the views over the loch are beautiful, its well worth the forty minute drive to get there. from portavadie(4miles), you can catch the ferry to tarbert, i would say to leave the car at the port as its not far to walk anywhere on tarbert and so pretty, you see so much more when your walking, if you like fresh fish this is the place to buy it. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go, i can,t wait to go back again and four winds will always have a place in our hearts, very special memories
Thank you very much for your kind comments. We look forward to welcoming you back.

"Excellent holiday home."
We had a great week in this marvelous house with amazing views over the Kyles of Bute and even better views on the many pleasant walks on our doorstep. The sun shone all week and visits to the shore and Ostal bay were great. On arrival we found the info list which we received before departing to Tighnabruaich to be most helpful with regard to the TV, washing machine etc. and this is not always available in some of the houses we have rented. In all an excellent well equipped holiday home and one which I am sure we will visit again.

"Perfection in a holiday Home"
We had a fantastic week in Scotland. I can highly recommend this property, it was clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. If it is peace and solitude with friendly locals then this is your place. The views over the Kyles of Bute cannot be matched we consider ourselves very lucky to have found Fourwinds and when we visit this area again we shall stay there. An absolute must are the fish and chips from Kames Hotel best I've ever tasted.

"Christmas at Fourwinds"
We are a family of 8 that enjoyed a wonderful christmas at Fourwinds. The cottage was clean, airy and very spacious with a kitchen table that easily seated us all. The local area provides all you would need in terms of a friendly pub, a fully stocked convenience store and a post office all within walking distance it even has a golf course! The whole area is beautiful with views that are breathtaking and the beach that is located minutes away by car is stunning. We will definately be returning.

"Beautiful place. We will be back!"
Fourwinds is a gorgeous spacious cottage beautifully located in a peaceful quiet location situated in unspoilt surroundings. There is good walking from the front door, and a range of shops and eating places is close by. It’s a stunning, very well maintained cottage, set in a nice sized garden, with the added attraction of being dog friendly. It has a big friendly Kitchen, and all the equipment and furnishings were in excellent working order. The cottage never felt cramped at any time, has excellent reception rooms, and a handy snug for the children to do their own thing! The bedrooms were roomy with excellent storage, and all the bathrooms light and fresh. We stay in cottages a lot and this one could be our home! We will be back. Thank you so much.

"Vistas not to be missed....Four Winds must be on your list!!!!"
We loved our time at FourWinds the house was spotless, warm and cozy. We are Americans and found all the comforts of a well furnished home at our fingertips. We spent 10 days there with friends and family and could not have been more pleased with our choice of accommodations. Mr. & Mrs. Anderson were extremely professional and accommodating while arranging our visit. They suggested various towns/places of interest and even arranged a boat trip for us. The surrounding towns we visited were amazing too everyone was so friendly and helpful. We hope to return to beautiful Scotland one day and will undoubtedly stay at Four Winds.

"Marvellous location, great cottage, spectacular views, brilliant stay"
Marvellous cottage in a brilliant location. The cottage is very pleasant and homely with great facilities. It was very clean and spacious even with 8 of us staying and with spectacular views. The location is great for touring around, with many things to see and do within a relatively short drive through wonderful scenary and the cottage is in a very pleasant and friendly village. A great place for dog walking and cycling (if you dont mind hills!) and we can highly recommend the local pub! Would definitely visit again.
