Southport is known as 'England's Classic Resort', a Victorian town with a great deal of history and surrounded by golf courses. The famously wide, tree-lined Lord Street (which inspired the Parisian boulevards), with its stylish restaurants and shops ends with the perfectly situated Shelbourne apartments.
As a seaside town, Southport has many attractions which are a must, such as Pleasureland, miniature railway and golf, bowling and Britain's second longest pier. The Marine Lake is particularly pretty and often hosts sailing events, whilst the beach is wide and large - perfect for a evening stroll along the sand.
For nature lovers there is the Botanic Gardens, Formby with pinewoods, red squirrels and sand dunes, as well as the Martin Mere Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. "Spacious and comfortable, unbeatable convenience!"
An excellently-maintained, family-owned set of apartments, #6 was perfect for our 4 night stay. Walking distance to the funfair, and very conveniently located for the rest of the town's attractio… More

"Absolutely amazing flat - clean, comfortable and spacious"
This apartment is so lovely and clean, very comfortable, modern and spacious. The location is brilliant for Lord Street etc. We were visiting family in the area and it was so great to have our own base instead of putting on them.
Owners very friendly - nearby and obviously work hard to keep the property in good condition. We didn't have any need to call on them whilst we were there but feel sure they would have been quick to repsond if we did need anything.
A little noisey for us as so close to main road but as we live in a rural area we always have that problem when in a more built up area - earplugs work a treat!
