"It exceeded my expectations!"
The Cottage is a comfortable, exceedingly well-equipped accommodation in a quiet area, but close to local supermarkets and shops. It is also very close to the rail link to London, both Victoria and Charing Cross, and to public transport so there is no necessity for a car. There are also some local attractions including Eltham Palace, a few minutes walk from the accommodation and well worth a visit. In addition I found the local taxi service, Data cars, to be both reliable and reasonable. The owners of the Cottage, Alan and Lana Gower live on site in the delightful Manor House and are a charming couple, willing to help in any way but at the same time not intrusive. I stayed for 11 nights in the cottage, part of the time with my teen-aged nieces and their mother and we all loved it. I recommend it highly and certainly hope to return.

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful Coach House with our teenagers for one week. Finding this place was no problem. The house is actually close to Central London (about 8 miles) and it is accessible using the Overground.
We found the house to be in excellent state. Beutifully decorated and comfortable. We feel very at home during our stay. The living area is quite spacious with open plan design to the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to do some cooking and washing. The 2 bedrooms are nicely tucked away upstairs. The big garden at the back is shared with the main house and has play area for children with trampoline, playhouse and even a ping pong table. It would be great in summer months.
Alan and Lana are excellent landlords, very accommodating and helpful with great information on transport and good eating places nearby. We enjoyed our stay in Eltham. Where the shop are just a few minutes walk away.We will undoubtedly came back.
